Remember this, the truth has to be realized being in this world doing all the worldly duties and not run behind the Gurus and yogis or escape to mountains and caves and Ashrams or join some cult.
The ignorance will not vanish by becoming a sanyasi or a monk, a sadhu, or a swami. If you are seeking truth then you have to drop all that is not needed to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
It is very sad to see children are forced into monkhood in the monastery brainwashed to become a monk.
It is very sad to see youngsters are discontinuing their education to become a sanyasi.
It is very sad to see people are renouncing their family life and dedicating themselves to some cult.
What is the use of becoming a monk or sanyasi or swami or Sadhu?
Sanyasa is a religious fable. Sanyasa is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman.
The sanyasa or monkhood is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and sanyasa or Monkhood is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.
What is the use of giving up something within the unreal world when Sage Sri, Sankara declares the world is unreal and Brahman alone is real?

Sanyasa is nothing to do with ultimate truth or Brahman. When the Self is not you then what is the use of taking sanyasa. You are the false Self (waking entity) within the false experience (waking). Deeper Self-search reveals the fact that the waking experience itself is merely an illusion. Suppose if you had asked the same question in the dream, the dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. The wisdom dawns when the waking entity (you) realizes it is not the Self.
There is no need to take sanyasa and renounce worldly life to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. All the guru propagated knowledge is not Gnana. All guru propagated knowledge is meant for the ignorant populace. If you are stuck up with religion and yoga you are unfit to tread the Atmic path.
If you are seeking the truth of your true existence then you must set yourself free of religious background and cultures, all accumulated should be discarded.
The seeker has to have the courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth because most people will not be able to subscribe to the path of truth, because, they are sentimentally and emotionally involved with their inherited belief system, and even if one does he has to overcome all his doubts, confusion, and despair. These are problems for the seekers who are from a religious background because of their conditioning and they are made to accept their blind belief as truth and their interest or insight is not deep.
Thus, all my blogs are useful in analyzing these problems because they highlight what is not the truth according to their own religious scriptures and make them accept the truth and reject all the false conditioning and move ahead in the pursuit of truth.
Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.
Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread." (Select Works of Sage Sri, Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad)
Thus, the above passage proves that all those who were the sanyasin robes are wearing it for the sake of bread belongs to the religion; they are nothing to do with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. There is no need to criticize and condemn the Gurus, yogis, and swamis because they are needed for the welfare of ignorant masses in the dualistic world.
Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani).
That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is not teaching or philosophy but Advaita is the universal wisdom. Advaitic wisdom is neither a teaching nor a theory but it is mere guidance to those who are seriously seeking the ultimate truth or Brahman. Grasp the ultimate truth anytime, any age, if the seeker has the spiritual maturity and capacity to grasp it.
Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality. Advaitic wisdom is nothing to do with religion and yoga.
Hindu religious literature is full of such aphorisms as ' there is no higher deity than the Guru; the Guru is the ultimate Truth and Deity. God and Avatars (incarnations) are secondary to the Guru in importance; there is no higher refuge, no higher target, no higher destination than the Guru; the Guru is God himself; God and the Guru are one; he who makes a distinction between the Guru and God is ignorant and stupid; and scores of similar others. They abound both in Sanskrit and in modern Indian languages.
All Guru-oriented paths and practices belong to religion and yoga. Do not be a slave of the Gurus' ornamental words if you do you will be caught up in a hallucination. Do not waste time with those who propagate half-baked knowledge.
All those whose intelligence has been stolen by hallucinations follow the Gurus.
Vedas bars human worship: ~
"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.":~ (Yajur Veda 40:9.)
Then why worship and glorify the Guru s and Yogis (human form) in place of God when Veda bars such activities and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.
The inner 'Self' revels ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready
Do not believe in a thing because you have read about it in a book. Do not believe in a thing because a wise man has said it was true. Do not believe in words because they are hallowed by dualistic knowledge Find out the truth for yourself. Use Soulcentric reason, which leads to the realization of the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space
Advaitic wisdom can never be gained by argument and provocation. Discard all the accumulated dualistic knowledge by realizing the world in which you exist, exists because of ignorance. Get rid of the ignorance by realizing the world in which you exist is created out of single clay and that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Realizing the ‘Self’’ is not you but the Soul is Self-realization. The Soul is the cause of the universe and it is uncaused.
Katha Upanishad says:~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Ch~ II-5 P-14)
The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.
A Guru is needed in the religious and the yogic path. There is no need for a Guru to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing because a wise man said it, Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you judge to be true
Wisdom consists in knowing the truth, that everything (mind or physical existence) is consciousness. The freedom (ultimate truth) is always there yet one does not know it. But to those whose reason is turned away from physicality and who have attained the serenity of the Soul or consciousness, the Self, is quite near to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.
People born in different sects and castes remain as its follower. Most of the sect is founded by some gurus, thus the Indian belief system is a Guru Cult, i.e. believes in the worship of the Guru as the Supreme Deity.
All Guru-centric paths are not meant for those who are not seeking the truth. Gurudom is nothing to do with ultimate truth or Brahman. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is nothing to do with physical Guru. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
