The famous peace invocation of Isa Upanishad says: ~ Om Purna- madah, purna-midam purnat-purnam-udacyate Purnaysa purna-madaya purna-meva-vasisyate
On the Advaitic perspective, the form, time and space are the false appearances in consciousness. The ‘Soul’ is the fullness of consciousness without division of the form, time, and space. The fullness of consciousness is emptiness. which is empty of the division of form, time, and space.
On the Advaitic perspective, the form, time and space are one in essence. Thus, there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.
The absence of the duality is wrongly called ‘nothingness’ or emptiness”. ‘Nothingness’ or emptiness – is the true nature of the Soul the Self. The nature of the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness is unconditioned awareness. Here, awareness alone is the positive experience in deep sleep, and the sense of nothingness is the nature of the Soul which is ultimate reality or Brahman.
Being empty is not wisdom. Emptiness is the nature of the Soul, the innermost Self. When wisdom dawns, then the ignorance ceases. When the ignorance ceases, then the Soul remains in its own awareness in the midst of the form, time and space.
Emptiness is the nature of the Soul, the Self. Emptiness is the Soul itself. Emptiness is the fullness of consciousness without division of form, time, and space. There is unity in diversity in emptiness. There is oneness in emptiness. When the Soul, the Self, remains in its own awareness then there is emptiness.
When there is no ignorance then there is emptiness. When there is no dualistic illusion then there is emptiness.
By simply saying become empty of thoughts and identity, wisdom will not dawn. The emptiness means the Soul has to remain in its own awareness without the form, time, and space in the midst of the form, time, and space.
When the Soul remains in its own awareness then there is no division of the form, time and space. Such declarations are mere ornamental words that please the people who are not yet ready and receptive to understand the truth, which is beyond the form, time and space.
The one, which is born, lives, and dies, is not the Soul. The Soul, the Self, never dies, it lives eternally. The Soul never comes or goes. Whatever comes and goes is merely an illusion.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is merely an illusion. Self-realization is necessary to realize the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is merely an illusion.
Void implies duality: the universe may not exist, but the thought of the second is there. If one knows there is a Void (emptiness/nothingness), then there is something there to be known and know. They are or have become consciousness.:~Santthosh Kumaar
