Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Don't unsettle the minds of ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth.+

Meher Baba: ~ "There is no higher or lower goal. There is only one goal, Self-Realization."
***
Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization, n  the world in which we exist is created out of single stuff. And that single stuff is the consciousness, which leads to the realization of the truth beyond the form, time,  and space.

Jesus said:~"Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all." (Gospel of Thomas 2)

Jesus said: ~” Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. (THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS- Saying 5)
***
Jesus said:~  Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)

~ Jesus meant Self-knowledge should not be shared with unqualified people.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Don't unsettle the minds of the ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth."

Consciousness (Spirit) is the root element of the universe. From consciousness, the universe comes into existence. In consciousness, the universe resides. And into the consciousness, the universe is dissolved.   Consciousness is the parent of all that is there.

The  Soul, the 'Self' reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
Upanishads:~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (Katha Upanishads-II -23-P-20)
All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality.  You are the chosen one.

Millions are searching for truth, but one in million will realize it. You are one from that million.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana helps to a raft upon which one crosses a swift river to get to the other side of the dualistic illusion, once the shore beyond the form, time, and space is reached; there is no longer any need to carry the raft because the Soul, the Self, remains in its own awareness.

In Self-awareness, the river and the person crossing the river itself are an illusion.  The Soul, which is present in the form of  consciousness alone, is real and all else is an illusion

There is not so much information on Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana but there is plenty of information on religion, religious Gods, yoga, meditation,  rituals, cults, gurus, and their film flam, scandals, etc.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana requires that one find out for himself. This also means discovering, exploring, and thinking for oneself.

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships the Self as~ Atman (God in truth) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare"

Looking for mystical gurus and yogis are not related to finding real Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

A vast majority of these spiritual problems disappear as one takes full responsibility for his own "enlightenment"-- free of religion, god glorification, scriptural knowledge, cultural dogma, and burnt-out historical traditions.

In the pursuit of truth, everything is all summed up in inquiring, analyzing, and reasoning on the base of the Soul, the innermost  Self that is something one tries for himself and finds out for himself.

Therefore, once one has that pointer, that direction, there is no need to waste time and effort. If one is interested in the history of gurus or yogis, or if one finds his transcribed talks entertaining or soothing, that is OK. Otherwise, once one becomes aware of the fact that ‘I’ is not the self, but the soul is the true self he will be able to drop all the accumulated dross.

Remember:~

Self-knowledge will not arise from the exchange of views and opinions and arguments. The accumulated knowledge is not a yardstick, to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space.
In the path of wisdom discussion of the unimportant subject matter is a great hindrance. The path of truth is the path of verification. Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification. Agreeing to disagree causes unnecessary friction.
As with all things, achieving a balance of peaceful communications is established with respect, humility, understanding, and patience. Balancing an achievement is harder.
The seeker has to stop passing unimportant opinions in this Atmic path. Atmic path is not the path of discussion, but the path of realization of the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
The Seeker has to think deeply instead of passing an opinion on his own point of view and he has to drop the judgmental attitude, which bars the realization of the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.
Intellectual discussion is a great hindrance in the pursuit of truth because intellectual knowledge is dualistic knowledge based on ignorance.
The nondualistic truth is very simple. It is very difficult to realize because it is lost in the dualistic knowledge we inherited, collected from different sources, different masters’ different gurus, different philosophies, different ideologies, different books, and scriptures. All this accumulated knowledge is a mere hill of garbage.
Nothing is needed other than realizing the knowledge of the single stuff. The single stuff is the cause of the world in which we exist. And that single stuff itself is causeless. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The Soul is the  Self. Knowledge of the Soul, the  Self, is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Atma Gnana is knowledge of God in truth. Realizing God in this very life is your goal. God-realization itself is real worship.
A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed. Only an intense urge to know the truth, humility sincerity and patience are the only qualifications to realize God in this very life and in this very world.

Chandogya Upanishads: ~ “This universe comes forth from Brahman and will return to Brahman. Verily, all is Brahman. A person is what his deep desire is. It is our deepest desire in this life that shapes the life to come. So let us direct our deepest desires to realize the Self.

Ashtavakra Gita:~“The universe rises from the Soul, the Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus know the ‘Self’ to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

Sage Sankara said: ~A.A~ 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?

The ‘Self’ is not the mind. The mind is present in the form of not the world in which we exist.  The world appears as a waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).    The ‘Self’ is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in all three states. Thus, diversity is created out of single stuff. That stuff is consciousness.

Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman because there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.   From the standpoint of the Soul, the form, time, and space are one, in essence.

In spirituality, God means the ultimate truth, or Brahman or God in truth. Self-realization is the truth- realization. Truth- realization is God-realization.

Sage Sankara: ~VC~ If the universe be true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

That is why Sage Sankara says:Brahman is the truth The World is Unreal everything is Truly Brahman and nothing else has any value.

If you are seeking truth then do not waste time finding a Guru and becoming his slave.  The Gurudom belongs to the religious and yogic path and it is nothing to do with the Advaitic path.

Upanishads:~  Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)

There is no need for a Guru, to know you and your Guru and the world in which you exist are created out of single clay and that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  Knowledge of that single stuff is the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  Atma Gnana is given neither from outside nor from another person.

There is no need to follow anyone. There is no need to practice anything but perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ leads to realizing the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

The Soul the ’Self’ reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study the Scriptures, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~ then why do you indulge in studying the scriptures.
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study philosophy, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.
~then why do you indulge in studying philosophy.
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in rituals, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why do you indulge in rituals.
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in yoga, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why do you indulge in yoga.
Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says: ~The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.
Those who tell you that Brahman is unity, that you can get it only by intuition, that you should not reason, you should not question or inquire, are deluding you. Verification must come by thought.
Drop your entire accumulated knowledge drop all the physical Gurus, the Soul the inner Guru, is waiting for you to take the first step for you to realize there are no more steps.
You will realize your body and your experience of the world are nothing but consciousness thus you will realize that God (Soul) is the fullness of the consciousness. Everything is God nothing but God. Do not waste time attending sermons and Satsang. Real Satsanga is reflecting on Soul, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
All my writings are an inner revelation to show the truth hidden under the garbage of religion and theories, beliefs, and ideology.
There is no need to condemn religion, theories, beliefs, and ideology, but the seeker’s aim is to drop what is not the truth and accept only the truth beyond form, time, and space. Whatever belongs to form, time and space is not the truth because the nature of the Soul is the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
In the past, Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was imparted only to a few because sages of truth had preserved it people were more interested in their religious beliefs. Now a day’s people are more advanced, capable of understanding assimilating, and realizing the truth beyond the form, time, and space.
Start your journey even though you may find it difficult at first as you go on reading the post your subconscious will start dropping the dualistic egocentric knowledge and start accepting the Soul-centric Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.:~Santthosh Kumaar
