You and your guru are the part of the illusion.+

You and your Guru are part of the dualistic illusion or Maya.  Thus, what is the use of worshiping the guru who is part of the illusion?  The one who worships and the one who is getting worshipped himself as a guru is ignorant, therefore they will never get Gnana (wisdom).

Worshiping human beings as God is barred by the Vedas. People who indulge in such worship fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time as per the Vedas.

Most of the followers are stuck with glorifying these Gurus by forgetting their goal of Self-realization.

Getting sentimentally or emotionally involved with the Gurus and yogis and their teaching and glorifying the Gurus blocks the realization of the ‘Self’.

If you are seeking truth then do not indulge in the worship of Guru as God. Ignorance will not vanish by worshiping Gurus but worshipping Gurus will keep you permanently in the grip of ignorance. Such worship is barred by Vedas.

Vedas bar human worship:~

Translation 3.

"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.":~ (Yajur Veda 40:9)

Then why worship and glorify the GURUS and YOGIS (human form)   in place of God when Veda bars such activities and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.

By sticking to some Guru and surrendering to him, the Advaitic wisdom will not dawn. Surrendering is a religious fable.  Surrendering is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Surrendering is a religious fable. Surrendering to ‘what’ when there is only one. Devotion and surrendering are a reality on the base of the false self (ego or you) within the false experience.

Thus the guru, devotion, and surrendering are part and parcel of the illusion. Surrendering implies duality. Realizing there is no duality leads to nondualistic Self-awareness.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the only tool to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Surrender implies duality. There is no duality in reality. When wisdom dawns, one realizes the whole universe in which we exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is the soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The knowledge of the single stuff is self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Simply saying surrender without realizing the ultimate truth is like trying to sweeten the seawater by putting a spoon of sugar.

Vedas do not accept anything as God other than Atman and do not worship other than Atman.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

God in truth is the Atman, the Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not accept any other God other than Atman not worship other than Atman.

Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

Nothing is real but God. Nothing Matters but love for God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is and all else is an illusion.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar
