Sage Sankara says:~ One must first know what is before him. If he cannot know that, what else can he know or understand?+

No one will accept the simple truth because people are unaware of the fact that, they, themselves are the product of ignorance. Self-awareness arises only after the  deeper self-search
All are seeing the world that confronts them always due to ignorance. When ignorance vanishes, there is neither the seer nor the seen because they have become one in essence. That essence is consciousness (soul).
That is why Jesus said:~"Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.
It means one has to know the world which confronts him confronts to realize his body and the world are made of the same essence and that essence is Spirit or consciousness (father).

Sage Sankara says:~ one must first know what is before him. If he cannot know that, what else can he know or understand? If he gives up the external world in his inquiry, he cannot get the whole truth.
VC- 63-Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.
Jesus said: ~  "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find it, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel and will reign over all. (And after they have reigned they will rest)"
When the seeker indulges in deeper self-search and becomes aware of the fact that the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is merely an illusion created out of the Spirit, he will be in fear of losing their physical identity and the experience of the world which he dearly attached. But gradually his conviction grows about the Soul, the Self, the mind becomes still and rests in consciousness.

The illusion is present in the form of ‘I’ or mind. The  Mind is present in the form of the universe.  The universe appears as a waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep.

The three states are one in essence and that essence is consciousness. From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness,  the three states are illusory.

Thus experiencing birth, life, death, and the world within the illusion (waking or universe) with the illusory self (waking entity or ego), within the illusory experience (waking), has to be an illusion.

The illusion is created and sustained and finally dissolves as consciousness, which is the  Self.  Since there is no second thing other than consciousness (Soul);  consciousness itself is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

God in truth is the Atman, the Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not accept any other God other than Atman not worship other than Atman.

Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

Nothing is real but God. Nothing Matters but love for God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is and all else is an illusion.

The one who has realized this truth for him this illusion is a passing show.  Because, he fully aware of the fact that,  his body, his ego, and his experience of the world also is consciousness.

People's approach is more practical, and they are stuck with the reality of the practical life within the practical world, they take it as real,  whereas Gnani sees his body as his ego and his experience of the world as the consciousness.:~Santthosh Kumaar
