A Gnani never identifies himself as guru.+

A Guru who pretends to be Self- realized and plays with the emotions and sentiments of the seeker is a fraud, not a Gnani.
If you emotionally and sentimentally hold on to the physical Guru as a guide you will never be able to transcend the dualistic illusion to non-dualistic reality.

The idea of having a Guru itself blocks you from realizing the Self’, which is hidden by the dualistic illusion.

Sage Sankara himself said: ~ A Gnani "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).

It means the Gurus, Swamis, and Yogis who identify themselves as holy people are not Gnanis.

Those who are seeking truth need not follow any Guru or any teaching.

The one who thinks of himself as a Guru and the one who thinks of himself as a chela (disciple) will not be able to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because both of them accepted themselves as the body. And all their understanding, practices, and knowledge are based on the false self (ego or you). Therefore, the Guru –Shisya concept is a great obstacle in the pursuit of truth.
Religious gurus or yogis are too enthusiastic to have everyone as their disciple, and they will push themselves on others with their advice, and authoritative scriptural knowledge. Religious gurus or yogis want to keep everyone in the domain of religion and yoga.

More than they want to help people, they want to help their ego. They   only use people and impose their inherited idea of religion and God on them, usually unintentionally because they themselves is more unconscious than others of the ultimate truth.

A Gnani never claims himself as a Gnani or tries to show off that he is wise,  and others are less wise. Gnani never indulges in argument,  but he only put his point of view.   A Gnani is not enthusiastic to have anyone as his disciple. A Gnani never identifies himself as a  guru.  He does not impose his ideas on anyone. However, he identifies the serious seeker and guides them as fellow seekers. It is very difficult to identify a Gnani, because he never claims himself to be guru or teacher.

Most people are not aware of what really they are seeking. They start their pursuit with their inherited religious ideas,  and as they go deeper they will feel that religion and yoga are inadequate to quench their thirst.

A serious seeker will realize the fact that he is looking for something else, and he is now sure it is not the self-assurance, fulfillment of dreams, or fulfillment of the social demands.   He will realize the fact that, religion and yoga and theoretical philosophises are means to quench his inner thirst.

A Gnani dearly cares about the serious seeker, but will stay aloof, he knows that if  the seeker needs to be assisted by him, he will approach or rather be drawn to approach him. He has no self-interest whatsoever and so anyone considered equally for his love as anybody else, whoever comes, comes and if no one comes it is also fine.
People are too fascinated by the glare of the world in which they exist; they take the world in which they as real. They will remain not to be able to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space.
To live an ego-centric existence makes them feel the form, time, and space as a reality.
Egocentricity makes one feel he is an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to him and he is born in it afterward. This conviction makes one strongly feel the world in which he exists is a reality.
Those who assert the world is reality are still in the elementary stages of the preliminary analysis. The world is a reality within the waking experience, but the waking experience is merely an illusion. In the same way, the dream world was a reality within the dream experience. The dream became unreal when the waking took place. In the same way, the waking becomes unreal when Advaitic wisdom dawns.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Freedom from duality will never come from discussing philosophy or by indulging rituals, prayers and worship or by glorifying gurus or gods.+

All accumulated bookish knowledge is only intellectual wealth. Intellectual wealth is mental garbage Lecture consisting of a shower of ornamental words, the skill in expounding the accumulated bookish knowledge, and likewise erudition - these merely bring on a little personal enjoyment to the scholar, but it is not Advaitic Gnana or wisdom of Sage Sankara.
The accumulated scriptural and bookish knowledge is useless so long as the highest truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest truth has already been known.
Hence the seeker should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.
To get rid of ignorance, the only remedy is the Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
There is no need to study the scriptures in order to get rid of ignorance.
The scriptures themselves suggest scriptures are not needed to acquire Self-knowledge. Without direct realization, one cannot be liberated from experiencing the illusory universe as reality.
There is no need to read books after books. You need to realize only the world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of that single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is Advaita.

No books can do more than help us to find it, and even without them, we can get all truth if we search for the truth which is hidden by the world in which we exist. You have the love for books without bondage to them; and read the books, but do not believe blindly because it is well written with the ornamental world, but think for yourself. No blind belief can save you, work out on your own to find the truth, which is hidden by form, time, and space. Think the Soul is your inner Guru - that Soul is an eternal help.
There is no need to read books to realize the truth which is beyond form, time, and space.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ “It is actually said that for one who knows Brahman, the ultimate Reality, the Veda has no meaning: Veda becomes no-Veda'.
The Upanishad itself says: ~ “vacho viglapanam hi tat” ~ 'Words are only so much of a distraction for such minds'.
Katha Upanishad: ~ This Atman cannot be attained by the study of the Vedas, or by intelligence, nor by much hearing of sacred books. It is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (Katha Upanishad Ch-II -23-P-20)

Remember:~

Lectures consisting of a shower of ornamental words, the skill in expounding the Scriptures or intellectual theories, and likewise erudition - these merely bring on a little personal enjoyment to the intellectuals , but are no good for freedom.

Freedom from duality will never come from discussing philosophy or indulging in rituals, prayers, and worship, or glorifying gurus or gods.

The inborn conditioning stronger and stronger by indulging in the rituals , glorifying gurus and gods. . If one has the strong conviction that, the practical life within the practical world as reality, then there is no freedom from experiencing the birth, life, death and the world as reality.

Till one believes the experience the birth, life, death and the world as reality,  the duality will prevail as reality.

When nondual wisdom dawns, than the universe (duality) becomes a mere mirage created out of consciousness.  The duality is present only when the universe is present.  If the universe is merely an illusion than the duality also is merely an illusion.

Thus all the illusory bonds of duality brakes and the ‘self’ is liberated from the clutches of duality which was experienced as reality. In the same way, as the dream becomes unreal when waking takes place the duality becomes unreal when wisdom dawns.:~Santthosh Kumaar

The Advaitic wisdom leads the seeker from darkness to light, from ignorance to wisdom, from unawareness of the ‘Self’ to Self-awareness, and from unreality to reality. +

The Advaitic wisdom leads the seeker from darkness to light, from ignorance to wisdom, from unawareness of the ‘Self’ to Self-awareness, and from unreality to reality.

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."

All is consciousness. The whole universe is consciousness. From consciousness, the universe comes. When the universe disappears and consciousness still remains without form, time and space

The Soul itself is God, the One without a Second. The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. The Soul, the God in truth is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness itself is God in truth.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other truth other than consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth. Nothing is real but consciousness. Realize consciousness as the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. Consciousness is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

Consciousness, the God in truth is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proof. It is not possible to deny God in truth because God in truth is the very essence of the one who denies God in truth. God in truth is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?"

Even in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.

All those whose intelligence has been stolen by ignorance believe in non-Vedic Gods. The Vedas talk about Brahman (God in truth) which refers to the ultimate truth or ultimate reality or Advaita. Consciousness is the Advaita or the ultimate truth, therefore, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is Advaita the God in truth. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

There is no proof that by praying to God such wars, violence terrorism calamities epidemics will stop happening.+

Millions of people in the world every day prayed to their God of their belief to protect them but the people who don’t believe in other people's idea of God mercilessly kill them so the prayers remained unheard of those who prayed for protection.

There is no invisible power of God is working to save mankind. There are visible tangible signs in the world of such power? There are no signs of benefit to humankind in this world.

The wars, violencdespite calamities epidemics are happening in spite of most people in the world praying to their God of their belief.

There is no proof that by praying to God such wars, violence terrorism calamities epidemics will stop happening. There cannot be any proof must show that wars, violence terrorism calamities epidemics can be stopped by praying to God. People indulge in wars, violence, and terrorism in the name of God and their religion. How God of one religion can protect the people who belong to another religion?

So, it is time to investigate what God is supposed to be according to the religious Doctrine.

Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit and they that worship God must worship God  in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24).

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness (Spirit), which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness (Spirit) which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted other than consciousness a God.

Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth." The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost Self. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

The Vedas confirm God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.

Rig Veda:~The Vedas exclaim from time immemorial, Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti, Existence is One, Sages call it by different Names. - 1-164-146.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

God in truth is the Atman, the Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not accept any other God other than Atman not worship other than Atman.

Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

Nothing is real but God. Nothing Matters but love for God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is and all else is an illusion.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.

Rig Veda declares God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and worship in place of real God.

Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God there is no truth."

Chandogya Upanishad: ~ Sarvam khalvidam brahma ~ all this (universe) is verily Brahman (God). By following back all of the relative appearances in the world, we eventually return to that from which it is all manifest – the non-dual reality.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent).

It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as It is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described because description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there between not distinction of substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

God is not physical. God is present in the form of the Spirit. The Spirit is the cause of the world and the Spirit itself is uncaused.

Bhagavad Gita Chapter:~ All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

From the standpoint of the Spirit, the form, time, space, and name are merely an illusion. The spirit alone is real and all else is an illusion. In reality, the spirit (God in truth) and matter (the universe ) are one in essence.

Belief is not proof. Thus, whatever is propagated by religion is not proof. According to their own doctrine, God in truth is Spirit but they worship humanized God. First, one must know what God suppose to be in truth.

All the religious worship and prayers to God are meant for the ignorant populace. One must know the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

If the dream is experienced without the waking entity (form) then what is it that experiences the dream? +

The dream become unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. Wisdom dawns when the waking entity (you) realizes it itself (you are) is not the Self because the Self is birthless, deathless because it is formless.
The one which is born, lives, and dies in this illusory world is not the Self. The Self is the formless Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the three states are illusory. If the three states are illusory it means the present birth which happens within the waking experience is bound to be an illusion. If the present birth is an illusion the past birth is bound to be an illusion.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the innermost Self the experience of birth, life, death, rebirth, and the world is merely an illusion. Thus, it is necessary to realize the Self is not the birth entity; therefore the previous birth is part of the illusion.
When the Soul remains in its own awareness, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, because everything is consciousness.

Remember:~

How does one see various objects, scenes, and persons during dreams?
If the dream is experienced without the waking entity (form) then what is it that experiences the dream?
Therefore, there must be a formless witness of the dream world. This formless witness is the same witness that is witnessed this waking experience also. Therefore the waking experience and dream both are witnessed by one and only formless witness of which the seeker is unaware.
Since he considers his ego as the ‘Self’ and views and judges the worldview from the standpoint of the ego he is unaware of the 'Self' hidden by the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.
The Soul, the 'Self' can exist with or without waking or dream. But the waking or dream ceases to exist, without the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
The gross waking experience is merged into the mental experience in the sense that, when it is analyzed, it is found to exist inseparably in and as the consciousness alone.
The universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya is really mental: those who regard the universe as reality are deceiving themselves.
The dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place; similarly, the waking becomes unreal when the wisdom dawns. Therefore everything has to be grasped mentally, not argued from an intellectual standpoint,

Remember:~

No one can escape the waking experience which is the very basis of physical existence. What was the waking experience before it appeared? Was their existence before the appearance of the waking experience?

When the waking perishes, does the Soul or consciousness survive alone? Is there a Self or Soul? The seeker has to find answers to all to realize ‘what is the truth’ and ‘what is untruth’.
As one goes deeper in Self-search one becomes aware of the fact that the Self is neither the waking entity non-Self is the dream entity but the Self is a formless substance and witness of the three states. And the formless substance and witness of the three states are one in essence. And that essence is consciousness.
If the formless substance and witness are one in essence, then there is a second thing that can exist, other than consciousness. Thus, consciousness alone is real and all else is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
People who argue there is nothing beyond the universe; there is nothing other than the matter; that the body was the man; and death was the end of all.
According to them, there is no truth other than the practical life within the practical world, which they hold as reality. Their only agenda is as long as they live in the world and live happily with all the pleasant things of life, who can demonstrate that there is something left after physical death? Beg, borrow, or steal – but live happily is their mantra.
There are also people who believe strongly there was a spirit that defied the ravages of time, which cannot be confined in space; that spirit transcends the limits of this universe in which the body exists.
How one can decide what is the truth? when he is bound by the experience of the birth, life, and death or form, time, and space?
Consciousness is the Self. And the nature of the consciousness is formless and non-dual. One should realize consciousness as the whole universe without parts.

To describe non-duality as a system is erroneous because the dual and non-dual is the nature of the Self.

Duality is the illusory nature of the Self and non-duality is the real nature of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness. Ultimate truth cannot be confined to a narrow set of ideas:~Santthosh Kumaar

A Gnani sees the world in which he exists as consciousness, just as the goldsmiths view the ornaments as nothing but gold.+

Therese is no need to step out of the illusion. A Gnani lives within the world but he is not of this world.
At the dawn of the Advaitic wisdom, life will go on as usual within the dualistic illusion but the conscious awareness of reality is always there.
For Gnani whether there is a dualistic illusion or there is no dualistic illusion makes no difference because he is free from experiencing the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality.
A Gnani sees the world in which he exists as consciousness, just as the goldsmiths view the ornaments as nothing but gold.
A Gnani never considers his body and his experience of the world is not different from consciousness.
A Gnani considers the world in which he exists as the Soul. And the Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
Consciousness is the witness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.:~Santthosh Kumaar

The individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world has appeared on its own and it disappears on its own.+

The individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world has appeared on its own and it disappears on its own.
Whether a person takes it as a reality or illusion all depends on his mental and intellectual conditions will determine the phenomenal world observed and experienced. The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it.
A Gnani viewing the universe differently from the ignorant is viewing the same universe. Each one of them interprets the universe he sees in terms of his existing knowledge. The Gnani sees the world in which he exists as merely an illusion created out of consciousness whereas the ignorant see the world in which exists as a reality.
Thus, experiencing pain and pleasure within the dualistic illusion or Maya with the illusory ‘Self’ is bound to be an illusion.
The illusion is created and sustained and finally dissolves as the consciousness, which is the‘Self’. Since there is no second thing other than consciousness; the consciousness itself is the ultimate truth or Brahman.
The one who has realized this truth for him this illusion is a passing show because he is fully aware of the fact that the world in which he exists as the consciousness.
Practical people's approach is more practical, and they are stuck with the reality of the practical life within the practical world, they take it as real whereas Gnani has the firm conviction that:-
The Soul is the witness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theater, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.
What is not consciousness (formless) in the world in which we exist? The world, in which we exist ceases to exist without consciousness. The seeker, seeking and his destination is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

You are false entity (waking entity or ego) within the false experience (waking).+

Until you realize you are part and parcel of the illusory universe, the Self, which is hidden by the illusory universe will not be found.

Realize, the Self is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the cause of the universe it itself is uncaused.

Relax, and introspect mentally that, your body is not Self, your ego is not the Self, you are not the Self’.

You are a false entity (ego) within the false experience (waking). The Soul, the Self ‘is hidden by the universe but the Soul, the Self is without the universe.

You are part and parcel of that universe, which appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality).

The Soul, the Self is the formless witness which witnesses you (ego) and the universe together.

The Soul, the Self is just a witness of you and your experience of the world.

This witness is like a mirror. The body and the world are merely reflections on it.

The mirror is unaffected by the reflection on it. It is its ultimate nondual nature.

Once the seeker has grasped this truth, once he has walked the path to the innermost core, he will never be the same again. Finally, he has to awaken to his formless nondual true identity.

In the eyes of a Gnani, the whole existence becomes enlightened. A Gnani realizes his body, his ego his experience of the world are one in essence.  The essence is formless consciousness, which is the Self.  The waking and dream reflect in the mirror of consciousness without creating any ripples on the mirror when one becomes aware the mirror and its reflection are one in essence.

When the wisdom dawns the mind starts melting into the soul. Wisdom destroys all distance between the mind and the Soul. Mind becomes non-existence; it becomes nothingness in the midst of diversity. And that nothingness is the nondual nature of the Soul or consciousness, which is the Self.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation.+

Most think Consciousness usually implies something, thoughts, or things, but it is the formless non-dual nature of the Ataman or the Soul.

Consciousness exists with or without the matter because without consciousness the matter ceases to exist because the matter is created out of consciousness. It exists as matter in waking or dream.

When wisdom dawns it is consciously aware of its formless non -dual true nature in the midst of matter, as in deep sleep.

The proof is the main thing in pursuit of truth, "How can God exists without man’s existence?” how can the world exist without man’s existence. Thus man has to exist first to say the god and world exist.

Thus seeker has to verify his own existence to realize the fact that, all the three states are unreal, from the standpoint of the formless witness, which is the Soul, the Self.

If anyone expounds knowledge free of cost by giving free lectures and distributing books and CDs it does not mean that he is expounding non-dualistic wisdom. Thus his noble actions are not a yardstick to decide what the truth is and what is untruth.

Even christen missionaries all over the world distribute free literature, medicine, and food, but it is only a noble deed in the practical world, but they are not a qualification for acquiring Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Individual truth is not a universal truth.  An individual cannot claim that he has experienced the whole.

There is no proof he has seen it because the whole is not an individual experience. The man and the world are within the whole.  Thus such claims of experiencing the self or Ataman is mere hallucination.

People think they took Diksha or initiation and they are practiced under some guru or yogi and they are experiencing the bliss and now they are capable of transforming that bliss to others and they start hallucinating that what they experienced as bliss is reality without realizing the fact that their own existence within the universe is merely an illusion because the universe is merely an illusion from an ultimate standpoint.

It is very difficult for those who are caught up in the understanding based on the false self to realize the fact that, whatever they have experienced as bliss is mere hallucination because the ultimate truth or Brahman cannot be experienced because the self is not an individual because it is formless and it is not an entity or identity within the waking or dream.

How do the people who expound their knowledge know they have experienced the whole? Where is the proof they have seen it? When they say “I know from experience” they merely mean, “I think so.” If they experience bliss, they cannot be egoless, for who is having the joy? And if they retain the ego they cannot know the Universal Brahman, the whole. Thus their individual experience is not derived from Gnana or Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Without knowing the nature of the mind or universe world, it is impossible to know the ultimate truth. What is the use of trying to find one’s inner self before one understands the mind or universe?  Thus it is necessary to investigate the truth about the world, which confronts him to realize this world which confronts him as being consciousness.

That is why Sage Sankara says:~ VC-63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

Whatever has appeared (birth, life, death, and world) has appeared on its own and it disappears on its own.

Whether a person takes it as reality or illusion it all depends on his mental and intellectual conditions will determine the phenomenal world observed and experienced. The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it.

A Gnani viewing the universe (practical life within the practical world) different from the ignorant is viewing the same universe (practical life within the practical world). Each one of them interprets the universe he sees in terms of his existing knowledge.

The Gnani sees his body, his ego, and his experience of the world as merely an illusion created out of consciousness whereas the ignorant sees his body as body, his ego as ego, and his experience of the world as world.

Thus Experiencing the pain and pleasure within the illusion with the illusory self, within the illusory experience, has to be an illusion. The illusion is created and sustained and finally dissolves as consciousness, which is the Self.  Since there is no second thing other than the consciousness (soul); the consciousness itself is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

The one who has realized this truth for him this illusion is passing show because he is fully aware of the fact that his body, his ego, and his experience of the world to be consciousness. Practical peoples approach is more practical, and they are stuck with the reality of the practical life within the practical world, they take it as real whereas for Gnani has the firm conviction that:-

Formless soul or Consciousness is the witness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

Everything is consciousness in the universe because the universe is made out of consciousness.   The universe ceases to exist without consciousness.  The seeker, seeking and his destination all are one in essence.

By becoming more and more intellectual one becomes more and more intoxicated with individuality. The intellectuality is limited to duality.  In the realm of truth, intellectuality is replaced by non-dual wisdom.

There is nothing that exists other than formless non-dual existence. Therefore, there is no individual to become sane or insane. There is no second thing that exists, other than consciousness.  Everything is one, that is, unity in diversity. The curiosity, the urge cannot be imposed on others.  It has to sprout within. One need not become a guru because the guru is within guides every seeker.

If one is aiming to be a master, Guru, or teacher, he will never reach his destination. One has to share his knowledge with the fellow seeker not to make them his followers but only direct them if they are interested to travel beyond form, time, and space.

It is foolish to impose our idea on others because everyone is not at the same level of understanding.  Everyone's inner work is on. When they are ripe enough they will understand, assimilate and realize on their own.  If they are ready and sharp enough they will grasp it instantly and they will reach their destination with lesser time and effort. Thus preaching, teaching is not wisdom, but by very careful reasoning, the seeker has to determine the nature of reality. Thinking in the right direction alone helps the seeker determine the nature of reality.

Sage Sankara's commentary:~ Page 489- "The knower of Brahman wears no signs.  Page 500 asks in effect "Tell us what you know, show it, and let us examine it under the mental microscope." It means we must bring notions and beliefs out of vagueness into clearness. It also criticizes the mystics who claim superior knowledge but who cannot communicate it for purposes of verification.

On page 482:- On Gnani: "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior.":~Santthosh Kumaar
