Bhagavan Buddha:~ "It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours.+

Katha Upanishad says:~ Fools dwelling in darkness but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Ch II-5 P-14)
Playing with words is not wisdom. Playing with the words pleases only those who are more sentimental and who are hallucinating to receive something from a Guru. Getting stuck with the gurus is getting stuck with ignorance. If you are seeking truth nothing but the truth then you have to be non-attached to any Guru. The guru is only pretending to know the truth.
Swami Vivekananda said: - “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”
Jesus said:~"Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all." (Gospel of Thomas 2)
Jesus said: ~” Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. (THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS- Saying 5)
***
Jesus said:~ Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)
~ Jesus meant Self-knowledge should not be shared with unqualified people.
Tripura Rahasya: ~ Second-hand knowledge of the Self-gathered from books or Gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning the mind inward. ~ 18: 89
Just by saying thank you, to the existence, the ignorance will not vanish. Just by saying keep quiet be empty, the wisdom will not dawn. You have to realize you are not the ‘Self ‘. The nature of the Soul is empty because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Sage Sankara page 482: On Gnani: ~ "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior."

A Gnani never identifies himself as a Guru or a Yogi or someone disciple. The one who accepts himself as a Guru or someone’s disciple is not a Gnani.
Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.
Thus, the Gurus who pretend to know the truth are not Gnanis because the Gnanis wear no signs. They Give up the insignia of a monk's life.
Mundaka Upanishads:~ So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children “Is what I have seen or thought really the truth?" (P.334 line 9)
Bhagavan Buddha:~ "It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell." :~Santthosh Kumaar
