Jesus said: ~ “Know what is in front of your face and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.+

You are seeing the world which confronts you within the dualistic illusion or Maya. The dualistic illusion is created out of a single clay. that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Know what is you and the world in which you exist is in reality.

You and the world in which you exist are the product of ignorance.

When ignorance vanishes, there is neither 'you' nor the world in which you exist prevails as a reality because they have become one with the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

That is why Jesus said: ~ “Know what is in front of your face and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.

It means one has to know the world which confronts him confronts to realize his body and world are made of the same essence and that essence is Spirit or consciousness (father).

Sage Sankara says: ~ One must first know what is before him. If he cannot know that, what else can he know or understand? If he gives up the external world in his inquiry, he cannot get the whole truth.

VC~ 63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

In Self-awareness, the Soul will as objectless –awareness in the midst of the duality and then the duality will cease to exist as a reality.

The mind is nothing but objective existence. The seeker has to eliminate all the objective knowledge through wisdom and then objectless knowledge will alone remain. This is the nature of the Soul, the Self.

As for the well-known example of the hallucination of a snake in a coil of rope, the rope is real and the snake is unreal.

There is neither the snake nor the rope in Self-awareness.

Even after the truth of the snake is realized and the hallucination of a snake dismissed, there is still the reality of the rope persists.

Until the rope is recognized to be the Self, the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is an impossibility.

The universe is like the snake, because, it is merely an illusion.

A deeper self-search reveals the fact that the universe is neither the snake nor the rope but is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The true nature of the Soul is objectless awareness.~Santthosh Kumaar

Science is the highest teaching in the world of duality. Spirituality has its roots in the same world but ultimately leads to non-dualistic awareness.+

Science is the highest teaching in the world of duality. Spirituality has its roots in the same world but ultimately leads to Advaitic awareness.

Sage Sankara was the first Sage scientist who unfolded the mystery of the universe 1200 years back.

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is more rational and scientific and is nothing to do with religion and yoga.

Sage Sankara says this entire universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.

In the scientific field, the knowledge one can bank on the discoveries of different scientists. Newton discovered the law of gravity and Einstein formulated the principle of relativity. In addition, scientists take it for granted that these principles are valid. It is not so in pursuit of truth. If one sage discovers the ultimate truth then the seeker without verification cannot accept it as truth blindly.

Newton discovered the law of gravity, which is applicable only to the waking experience, which is only a half-truth. Nobody has discovered there is no gravity in deep sleep. All three states have taken into account to get the whole truth.

Only Sage Sankara discovered the whole truth 1200 years back. Scientific inventions are limited to form, time, and space. The mystery of the universe is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara: ~VC~ If the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

Sage Sankara says:~VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.

Remember:~

The ‘I’ blocks you from realizing the truth hidden by form, time, and space because the ‘I’ itself is the form, time, and space. whatever belongs to form, time and space is a dualistic illusion. The dualistic illusion is the product of ignorance. The ‘I’ is the cause of ignorance because ‘I’ itself is ignorance.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

People are stuck glorifying the ‘I’ and ‘I-centric’ Gurus and their teaching. The more you glorify the ‘I’ and ‘I-centric’ Gurus and their teaching you will be caught up in the prison of ignorance. The ‘I-centric teaching is dualistic.

The ‘I’ appears on its own it perishes on its own. The ‘I’ is not the cause of the appearance and disappearance because the ‘I’ itself is the appearance. The ‘Self’ is not ‘I’, but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The one which witnesses the appearance and disappearance is not ‘I’ because the ‘I’ appears and disappears.

The one which is aware of the appearance and disappearance of ‘I’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Realize, ‘what is this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality and what is hidden by the ‘I’ will be revealed.

If you realize the ‘Self ‘is not the ‘I’ but the Soul then whatever is hidden by the ‘I’ will be revealed.

Realizing the Soul is not the ‘I’ but the Soul is the Self, is Self–realization.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soulm the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. there is no need to convince such a mindset. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ lead to Advaitic Self-awareness.

The dualists, having the idea of difference, even the least notion of the ‘I’, can never get realization.

For those who are mentally so constituted that they must rely on some authority, who cannot think for themselves, who cannot stand on their own legs, who must quote some man or other, we prescribe scriptures. But for those who have sharp brains, we appeal to reason and so. There is no need for the scriptures to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Advaitic wisdom deals with the whole universe. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is nothing but the science which unfolded the mystery hidden by the universe. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is nothing to do with religion, sect, and yoga.

Sage Sankara says:~ Self-knowledge cannot be attained by the study of the scriptures and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge. Therefore, there is no use in studying the scriptures and other holy books to acquire non-dualistic or Advaitic wisdom.

Scriptures mastery, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth or Brahman. The ultimate truth is revealed in the clear understanding and realization of ‘what is truth and ‘what is the untruth?

When one realizes the untruth (universe) is created out of single stuff, then Self-awareness rises in the midst of duality exposing the unreal nature of the universe.

Sage Sankara: ~VC- If the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom exposes the falsity of religion and religious Gods.+

Religious believers are constantly quarreling with one another claiming that their religion is superior to other religions. They haven't the intelligence to understand that in reality there is nothing that exists other than the universal God, which is present in the form of the Spirit. The Spirit is the innermost Self.

Religion is not spirituality. Religious people are based on the inherited blind belief as truth whereas Spiritual people bases themselves on the Soul, the Spirit as the ultimate truth, or Brahman. Never mix religion with spirituality.
The ultimate truth is One and universal. All people are seeking the same Truth..... Everyone is going toward the ultimate goal. They will all realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God if they have sincerity and longing to realize it.
Religion is based on blind belief. But in pursuit of truth, doubt is the main ingredient.
Most people have the desire to know the truth, but the capacity to understand and assimilate it is limited. The result is that people resolve the conflict by jumping to the first and simplest and easiest conclusion as the correct one, and smugly but unjustifiably thinking “I know”: Thus, they commit the fallacy of primitivity.
The seeker needs proof to accept anything as truth. Every guru intellectuals, pundit, or yogi statements have to be verified before accepting them as the ultimate truth or Brahman. Their claims have to be verified before accepting them as true.

Remember:~

Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is pure spirituality or Adyathma do not make it a philosophic sect. Sage Sankara’s path of wisdom is the independent search for truth.

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom deals with the practical bearing of philosophy to remove the initial prejudice that it is remote from life.

Adyatma is nothing to do with religious sects or creeds and religious beliefs or any philosophy or Guru's teaching. Adyatma is pure spirituality. Knowledge of Atma is Adyatma. Advaita is Adyatma.

Adyatma is the knowledge of the truth beyond form, time, and space. Bifurcate religion, yoga, and theoretical philosophy and base the truth on the Athma it is Adyathma.

Adyatma is based on the ultimate truth which is based on the Atman or Spirit, which is the Self.

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality or Adyathma.

A Gnani speaks of the truth hidden by the dualistic illusion (I) just as it is, without any artifice or coloring. He is not concerned about the listener, he does not care whether his listener will understand or not.
Select Works of Sage Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad Upanishad: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."
Sage Sankara's commentary: - "The knower of Brahman (Self-realized or Gnani) wears no signs.- Page 489
Page 500 asks in effect "Tell us what you know, show it, and let us examine it under the mental microscope." It means we must bring notions and beliefs out of vagueness into clearness. It also criticizes the mystics who claim superior knowledge but who cannot communicate it for purposes of verification.
On page 482: On Gnani: "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior." When the knower of Brahman wears no signs -- it means he does not identify himself as a Guru or a teacher.
A Gnani cannot have the idea of renouncing the world or giving up something of the practical world because that would connote the idea of duality. Duality is merely an illusion from the ultimate standpoint. Knowing no second thing at all there remains nothing to be given up.
The Gurus and yogis belong to the religion, not Spirituality. Guru and yogis are meant for those who are emotionally involved with their religion and religious Gods and Gurus

Remember:~

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom exposes the falsity of religion and religious Gods.

We may belong to a different religion, belief, culture, tradition, lineage and nationality, and race.
We are a separate entity, with identity, names and diverse blood groups, DNA, and skin color.
With all this diversity there is unity because the world in which our birth, life, and death take place is created out of single clay. That single clay is the consciousness.
Knowledge of this single clay brings unity in diversity. Knowledge of this single clay is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
There is a need for humanity to realize we all are made of the same clay.
Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sri, Sankara is the only weapon that can stop the wars, violence, and terrorism, which is going in the name of God and religion, and bring universal peace, universal love, and universal brotherhood.
Religion makes diversity in unity whereas spirituality brings unity in diversity.
Remember:~
God is the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in the universe because the universe is nothing but a dualistic illusion or Maya created out of consciousness.
The universe is the product of ignorance. It is the Soul that is in ignorance.
The Soul has to be awakened from its sleep of ignorance. In order to awaken the Soul, the Self you should realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self is the Soul by constant remembering of the Soul.
When the Soul the ‘Self wakes up in the midst of the dualistic illusion or Maya the ignorance vanishes the Soul sees itself as it is without the form, time, and space even in the midst of the illusory form, time, and space.
The Soul, the God is impersonal. The only way to approach God is by Acquiring the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.
Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God in truth) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described because description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constituted the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.
Constant remembrance of the nature of God leads to Self-awareness, which itself is God-awareness.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Why worship mythical God within the illusory universe, because, God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe.+

To realize God in truth hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya (I) is not easy; it is the most difficult thing without the intense urge to realize God in truth.
Only a sincere and serious seeker who has the courage to drop his religion, scriptures, and religious Gods based on blind belief will be able to realize that God in truth neither comes nor goes, but God in truth exists always.
The form, time, and space, which appear and disappear as the universe are merely an illusion. Thus, all the attribute-based Gods are merely an illusion. God in truth is the cause of the illusory universe, and God in truth is causeless.
Why worship mythical God within the illusory universe, because, God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. It is hidden by the illusory universe because the universe is created out of God, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Self-realization is God-realization and God-realization is real worship.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

God in truth is the Atman, the Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not accept any other God other than Atman not worship other than Atman.

Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

Nothing is real but God in truth. Nothing Matters but love for God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is and all else is an illusion.

Advaita is the nature of God in truth. Advaita is God in truth. Advaita is fullness of consciousness.

All God propagated by religions are nothing but myths based on blind faith or blind belief.  here is nothing so absurd that men have not worshiped in religion, every imaginable face has been given to God.

If God is the creator then it is foolish to worship anything as God from his creation because the creation is apart from God.

Every religion has its own idea and conviction of God.  Thus,  every religion is based on the false Self.  Therefore, whatever is based on the false Self,  has to be a falsehood? Thus, the idea of God in any religion is merely an imagination based on the false Self.

God is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. According to the Vedas God, neither has any neither image nor God resides in any particular idol or statue. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.

Mythological God and Goddesses are based on blind belief.  Gods based on blind belief are not God in truth. The belief implies duality.

From the ultimate standpoint point, duality is merely an illusion. Thus, whatever one sees, knows, believes, and experiences within the dualistic illusion are bound to be an illusion.

Mythological stories are a myth. Whatever is based on myth is merely superstition.  Mythology was introduced in the past to the ignorant masses. It has to be discarded as one progresses in his spiritual advancement.

All the mythological Gods are worshiped in the form of idols.  The belief system which propagated ideas of many Gods and Goddesses Bhakti is the only way to God is simply tries to lead the people to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which is apart from the Self.

Mythology breeds superstitionblind belief, senseless rituals, and most irrational and gives them a divine outlook. Mythological stories are myths. Whatever is based on myth is mere superstition.  Mythology was introduced in the past to the ignorant masses. It has to be discarded if one has to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or real God.

Hinduism indulges non-Vedic beliefs such as idolatryancestor worshippilgrimages, priestcraft, offerings made in temples, the caste system, untouchability, and child marriages. All these lack Vedic sanctions therefore Hinduism is not Ancient Vedic religion or Santana Dharma.

All Hindus indulge in non-Vedic practices barred by the Vedas introduced by the different founders of the different sects of Hinduism at different times, whereas the Vedic religio,n or Santana Dharma is ancient and has no founder.

Hinduism is not Santana Dharma or Vedic religion.  Hinduism is not a religion. Rather it is a group of religions found within India that share common beliefs while still remaining very different.

Hinduism is not a religion but more a way of life of different castes founded by different founders in different regions of India.

To be considered an orthodox Hindu one need only accept the authority of Shruti, however, there is no universal agreement among Hindus on what constitutes Shruti. Vedantins consider the Vedanta, i.e., the Upanishads as Shruti but also include the Bhagavad-Gita and Brahma Sutras as authoritative.

For some Vaishnavas, the Bhagavata Purana is to be considered Veda. Some consider the Tantras are considered Veda. Thus, we find that there is ample scope for different philosophies and practices under the very broad umbrella of Hinduism.

Thus, to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the seeker has to realize his inherited religion is adulterated in the past and it becomes a great obstacle is realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

The Seeker's aim is the search for the Ultimate Truth or Brahman.  The search to find the non-dualistic or Advaitic truth that in actuality never was lost, only hidden.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost Self.   In reality,  there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

The Vedas confirm God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.

Rig Veda declares God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and worship in place of real God.

Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God there is no truth."

Chandogya Upanishad: ~   Sarvam khalvidam brahma ~ all this (universe) is verily Brahman. By following back all of the relative appearances in the world, we eventually return to that from which it is all manifest – the non-dual reality.

Brahman cannot be described because description implies distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

Sage Sankara: ~"That which permeates all, which nothing transcends and which, like the universal space around us, fills everything completely from within and without, that Supreme non-dual Brahman  (God) ~ that thou art."

Sage Sankara:~  VC Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity with the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not  even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together (verses-6)

Religious People think that in the age of Kaliyuga, a person gets Moksha, or salvation from bondage the cycle of rebirth by indulging in the ritualistic path.

The  Ritualistic path is meant for those who were illiterate and most of the highly educated are largely illiterate in the field of spiritualism today

Mundaka Upanishad says: ~ The rituals and the sacrifices described in the Vedas deal with lower knowledge. The sages ignored these rituals and went in search of higher knowledge. ... Such rituals are unsafe rafts for crossing the sea of samsara, of birth and death. Doomed to shipwreck are those who try to cross the sea of samsara on these poor rafts. Ignorant of their own ignorance, yet wise In their own esteem, these deluded men Proud of their vain learning go round and round Like the blind led by the blind.

When Sages themselves found rituals are unsafe rafts for crossing the sea of samsara, of birth and death, and ignored them and they the Mundaka Upanishad further suggest that such rituals are unsafe rafts for crossing the realm of duality those who try to cross The realm of duality on these poor rafts are  Doomed to shipwreck are. Ignorant of their own ignorance, yet wise in their own esteem, these deluded people (pundits) proud of their vain learning go round and round like the blind led by the blind.

Therefore, if one wants to acquire Atma Gnana or Brahma Gnana or Self- Knowledge or knowledge of consciousness one has to drop all ritualistic and orthodox baggage to move forward in the pursuit of truth.

Isa Upanishads indicate that:  The time one spends in ritualistic practices is wasted; one can spend the same time moving forward towards Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, which is the main goal.

Mundaka Upanishad condemns rituals.  The Para or Higher knowledge is the knowledge of the Supreme Being while the Apara or Lower Knowledge is that of following sacrificial rites and ceremonies. (1/2/ 1 – 6)

Mundaka Upanishads:~ So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children “Is what I have seen or thought really  the truth?" (P.334 line 9)

Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India (our true Advaita philosophy) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today as they did then. It is not yoga but the philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into the truth and have no time for it. (Gita –Chap- IV-v.2)

Mundaka Upanishad~ The study of the Vedas, linguistics, Rituals, astronomy, and all the arts can be called lower knowledge. The higher is that which leads to Self-realization. The eye cannot see it; the mind cannot grasp it. The deathless Self has neither caste nor race, neither eyes nor ears nor hands nor feet. Sages say this Self is infinite in the great And in the small, everlasting and changeless, The source of life.

Meher Baba said: ~   God is your innermost Self. Do not search for God outside of you.  Let these words be inscribed in your heart. Nothing is real but God. Nothing Matters but love for God. God is everywhere and does everything. God is beyond us and is everything. God alone is and all else is an illusion.

Upanishad aspiration is best expressed in the following sutra:~

OM Asato ma sad gaMaya , tamaso ma jyotir gaMaya , mrityor ma aamritaam gaMaya . Shanti, Shanti, Shanti

"OM Lead me from ignorance to truth, from darkness to light, from death to immortality. Peace, Peace, Peace" (Brhadaranyaka Upanishad (1/3/28)).

Religion was coherent because it had a transcendent God as a central doctrine, whereas in the realm of truth individualized God cannot be considered as a center because the Soul,  the  Self is the center of all that exists.

First, one should not hold a God as the center of existence without verification. Both the theists' and atheists' theories are nothing to do with ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.:~Santthosh Kumaar
