Only ignorance disappears and the unreal nature of the universe is exposed. The universe which appears as the waking experience is a dualistic illusion.+

The universe itself is what God is all about. The totality of the universe is what God is all about. You just study the nature of the universe with all the seriousness and sincerity to unfold the mystery of the universe. That is all you have to do.

Until the mystery of the universe is not solved, the Self hidden by the illusory universe will not be realized.

Look into the nature of the universe. And you will be able to see that universe by its very nature is illusory. The moment you understand that the universe is illusory, ignorance disappears and Self-awareness arises.

Error in your understanding of non-duality will not yield the ultimate truth.

It is erroneous to believe the general impression is that the universe disappears to a Gnani, that he sees nothing in Samadhi. Only deluded persons will have such an impression?

Nothing is destroyed. Only ignorance disappears and the unreal nature of the universe is exposed. The universe which appears as the waking experience is a dualistic illusion.

A Gnani has the full and firm conviction that the world in which he exists is nothing but consciousness in the midst of dualistic illusion. The Soul, the Self, being aware of its true nature in the midst of dualistic illusion is called Self-awareness.

The universe or the waking experience will not disappear. It is there always, but the unreal nature of the waking experience is exposed in the midst of dualistic illusion through Advaitic wisdom.

Manduka Upanishad:~ Brahman must be realized in the waking state when all objects are present to consciousness, otherwise, it is nonsense. Page 65: v.10.

If one thinks its mere disappearance in the Yogic Samadhi is the ultimate Truth or Brahman, then he would get it in deep sleep. Thus, the yogic Samadhi is not the Advaitic wisdom.

The snow is nothing but water, therefore, the water alone is real. Similarly, the universe is nothing but Consciousness, therefore, Consciousness alone is real.

Remember:~

The universe is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.
People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.
The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed, and experience. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or consciousness.
Thus, all the egocentric (religious) adulteration has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.
The Soul, the 'Self' reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the  Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

Remember:~

When 'I' cease to exist there is Mukthi or liberation. So long 'I' is present there is ignorance. Know 'I' as the whole universe and the Soul as the real Self, which is the cause of the universe to realize yourself is not the Self to become jivanmukta.
A Gnani is a jivanmukta because he is free from experiencing the worldly life within the illusory world as a reality.
A Gnani consciously becomes one with the Soul before his physical death whereas the ignorant unconsciously becomes one with the Soul after his death.
A Gnani is the one who has risen to Gnana is liberated from experiencing birth, life, death, and the world as a reality while living in the midst of the world before his physical death.
A Gnani consciously becomes one with the Soul before his physical death whereas the ignorant unconsciously becomes one with the Soul after his death.

Remember:~
Advaitic Moksha is Gnanic Moksha. The Advaitic Moksha is synonymous with Brahman. Shruti says -"brahmavit brahmaiva bhavati" - He who knows Brahman becomes Brahman Itself. It is not as if something that was not Brahman suddenly becomes Brahman. Rather, "realizing Brahman" means the removal of ignorance by realizing the Self is not an individual but the Soul, which pervades everywhere and in everything in the universe.
Thus, to "know Brahman" is to "be Brahman". The one who has realized the Soul, the ‘Self’, which is hidden by the dualistic illusion (Maya), is the jivanmukta, one who is liberated even while embodied. Such realization is possible by acquiring Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana itself is the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.
The jivanmukta is one who has realized the ‘Self’ hidden by the dualistic illusion (universe). Gnanic moksha is not a religious propagated moksha. Religious propagated moksha is dualistic.
The religious propagated Moksha is the result of ritual action (karma marga) or of devotional service (bhakti marga).
The religious propagated paths, not the liberation. Gnanic moksha is not a result of anything, for it always exists. All that is required is the removal of ignorance.
Advaitic realization comes only by getting rid of ignorance by perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’

Remember:~

Modern Guru and yogis propagate love, bliss, Samadhi, and grace; all these are valuable in practical life within the practical world.

Practical life within the practical world is a dualistic illusion. In the dualistic illusion, form, time, and space are experienced as a reality. The ultimate truth or Brahman is beyond form, time, and space.

Thus, whoever is intoxicated by dualistic knowledge is unfit to acquire Self -knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is based on the Soul, the Self.

Thus, all dualistic knowledge is useful for practical purposes. In pursuit of truth, dualistic knowledge instead of helping obstructs the realization of the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

Thus, it is necessary to realize that religion, yoga, and the other paths and practices based on the waking entity (ego), which is the false Self within the false experience (waking), is false knowledge.

The true path is the path of wisdom, which is based on the formless Soul, the Self.

One has to test the truth in this world, not in the next world. There is no proof other than blind belief based on the scriptures, belief is not the truth.

So, doctrines are not the means to realize the ultimate truth. There is no need to follow them. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Look into the nature of the universe. And you will be able to see that the universe by its very nature is illusory.+

Unless and until you inquire into the universe which confronts you, Self-realization is an impossibility.

The veil of ignorance covers the Soul, the Self. The illusory universe covers the Soul, the Self.

Mundaka Upanishad:~ First we deal with the known and seen, this inquiry leads up to the unknown in the end.

Manduka Upanishad has no assumptions whatsoever. It is an honest and bold inquiry into truth. It rises above scripture.

Sage Sankara:~ VC ~293 The whole objective world is non-real.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC~63- "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

Look into the nature of the universe. And you will be able to see that universe by its very nature is illusory. The moment you understand that the universe is illusory, ignorance disappears and Self-awareness arises.

Consciousness is the one single reality or Brahman. The individual self is a reality within the illusory universe or Maya.

Consciousness is like the ocean. The universe is like a wave. The wave has no separate existence apart from the ocean because they are one in essence.

The illusory universe is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness. The universe is neither to be renounced nor accepted as real nor to be destroyed.

You do not accept the dream universe to be real when waking takes place. In the same way, the illusory universe should be as accepted as real when you realize the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Look into the nature of the universe. And you will be able to see that the universe by its very nature is illusory. The moment you understand that the universe is illusory, ignorance disappears and Self-awareness arises.

Self-awareness is the state of non-dual reality. That is the state of Advaita.

In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the universe, observed and experienced. Thus, all the egocentric (religious) adulteration has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

Remember:~

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.

Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.

A Gnani sees his body as consciousness, his ego as consciousness, and the world in which he exists as consciousness.

There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Do not mix religion with spirituality. Religion is meant for the ignorant populace.+

Religious and yogic paths are egocentric paths. Religious and yogic paths are based on a dualistic perspective whereas Advaitic wisdom is based on a non-dualistic perspective.
The path of wisdom is not for religious-minded people. Everyone is free to follow their chosen path, which gives them satisfaction and makes them happy. The path of wisdom is only for those who are seriously seeking the truth.
Spirituality is nothing to do with religion. The hidden words of wisdom of the Sage of truth are the signpost to realize the Advaitic truth. Do not mix religion with spirituality. Religion is meant for the ignorant populace.
Without an intense urge to realize the truth is not possible to tread the path of wisdom.

All your accumulated knowledge is from religious sources and yogic paths are based on the dualistic perspective. Religion and yoga are nothing to with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

All your accumulated knowledge is from religious sources and yogic paths are based on the dualistic perspective. Religion and yoga are nothing to with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Swami Vivekananda:~This bending the knee to superstitions, this selling yourself to your own mind does not befit you, the Soul. Self is infinite, deathless, and birthless. Because the Self is infinite Spirit, it does not befit you to be a slave. ... Arise! Awake! Stand up and fight! Die if you must. There is none to help you. Self is the entire world. Who can help you? -
Swami Vivekananda: ~Jñāna Yoga is divided into three parts. First:- hearing the truth--that the Atman is the only reality and that everything else is Maya. Second:- reasoning upon this philosophy from all points of view. Third:- giving up all further argumentation and realizing the truth. This realization comes from being certain that Brahman is real and everything else is unreal.

Religion is regarded as sacred and real by the common people, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.

Remember:~

Gnana cannot be got in fragments or parts. How could one know they are different parts of the same thing, only by imagining it? Those who say the various yogic paths lead to the same realization cannot prove it; they only imagine it is so because some Yogis and Gurus have said it so.

There are two types of Peace: ~

The first is: ~ Through Yoga one withdraws from the world, actually or mentally or one practices Samadhi, thus avoiding troubles.

The second is:~ Where everything is faced and known, its true nature understood as the Atman (consciousness) and henceforth you are always undisturbed by wants. The first is lower, delusive, mystic; the second is higher, genuine, and Gnanic.

Both real and unreal, seen and unseen, trance and activity are the consciousness, whereas mystics wrongly divorce one from the other. It is absurd to think that anything can be left out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Nirguna and Saguna are classified only in duality. In non-dual reality there is neither the nirguna nor the saguna, everything is one.+

Nirguna Brahman is nothing to do with religion because nirguna Brahman is Atman, the God in truth is not the God people believe and worship.

Nirguna Brahman (God in truth) of Sage Sankara is impersonal.
Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes),
Nirakara (formless),
Nirvisesha (without special characteristics),
immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent).
It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject.
It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses.
Brahman is non-dual, one without a second.
It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal.
Brahman cannot be described because the description implies distinction.
Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute.
Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman and not just Its attributes.

Remember:~
Nirguna (attributeless) is the nature of the Soul, the Self. The Saguna (attributed) is the nature of the mind, which is present in the form of the universe.
The Soul is the knower of the Saguna (mind). The Saguna (mind or the universe) is merely an illusion, from the standpoint of the nirguna, which is the Soul, the Self. Thus, the Saguna (mind or world) is a myth from the standpoint of the nirguna, which is the Soul, the Self.
The Soul is the real Self and eternal identity. The nirguna (Soul) can remain with or without the Saguna (mind) whereas the Saguna (mind) is dependent on Nirguna (Soul) for its existence
Nirguna and Saguna are classified only in duality. In non-dual reality there is neither the nirguna nor the saguna, everything is one. Therefore, the nirguna and the Saguna are one, in essence, that is Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The Saguna is the mind because when the mind is present then all the attributes are present, and when the mind is absent then the attributes are absent.
The Samadhi is the natural state of the Soul, the Self. In the natural state, the attributes are non-existent and in duality ( the mind), all the attributes are present. Thus, duality and nonduality are the nature of the Soul, the Self. The duality and the nonduality are not some theories. The theoretical duality and nonduality is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
The world in which we exist is present in the form of objective awareness. The whole objective awareness is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The knowledge of the single stuff is Self -knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The dual (waking or dream) and nondual (deep sleep) experiences appear and disappear. The Soul is the witness of the coming and going, of the three states.

All three states are made of single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Thus, the single stuff alone is real and eternal and the entire three states are merely an illusion created out of the Single stuff.
Realization of the single stuff, which is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness is Self -realization.

Till ignorance is there the three states are experienced as a reality. Thus, it is very much necessary to realize the fact that there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Remember:~

Nirguna (attributeless) is the nature of the Soul, the  Self. The Saguna (attributed) is the nature of the mind, which is present in the form of the universe.

The world is subjected to creation and dissolution only from the standpoint of the ego.+

The objective world is not a creation of the mind because the objective world itself is the mind.
Thus, without knowing:~
‘What is mind?'
‘What is the substance of the mind?
‘What is the source of the mind?
~it is difficult to understand, assimilate Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Remember:~
Realize what the mind is supposed to be with full and firm conviction.
The mind is present in the form of the ‘I’.
The mind is present in the form of form, time, and space.
The mind is present in the form of the universe.
The mind is present in the form of a dualistic illusion.
The mind appears as waking or dream (duality).
The mind disappears as deep sleep.
Remember:~
Without the mind:~
There is no ‘I’.
There is no form of form, time, and space.
There is no universe.
There is no dualistic illusion.
There is no waking or dream (duality).
From the spiritualistic perspective, the mind is limited to an individual because the mind is the whole universe

Remember:~

The world is subjected to creation and dissolution only from the standpoint of the ego.
The Soul, the Self cannot be subjected to creation and dissolution because the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. The Soul is as it is.
Let you be clear on one thing. The world in which you exist is mere a dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. but in the reality the world in which you exist neither exists in the past nor exists now, nor going to exist in the future.
Whatever existed in the past and whatever exists now and whatever is going to exist in the future is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
All our experience of birth, life, and death is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. The only real thing in the world in which we exist is consciousness, which is the cause of this world and it itself is uncaused.
All your doubts and confusions are based on an unsupported assumption because your views and judgments are based on the dualistic perspective.
You presume that the cause-effect relationship is valid and real. But causal relationships have no reality. they lack reality because, from the non-dualistic perspective, there is neither the cause nor the effect there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Whatever is perceived, the one who perceives and the perception within the dualistic illusion is not different from the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, because the dualistic illusion is created out of single stuff and that single stuff is consciousness. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Until you try to experience non-duality within the domain of duality you will remain in ignorance.+

Until you try to experience non-duality within the domain of duality you will remain in ignorance.
Nonduality is the true nature of the Soul, the Self, which is unborn eternal.
The ‘Self’ cannot be experienced as an individual because ‘Self’ is not an individual it is formless and universal.
People think the religious scholars’ interpretation of Upanishads and get stuck to the idea of experience as a touchstone.
One has to realize the ‘Self’ is not ‘you’ but the ‘Self’ is the Soul or the consciousness. The Soul or consciousness is prior to any experience. Experience implies duality.
The duality is merely an illusion from the ultimate standpoint. In reality, experience and experience are one in essence. Thus, there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. Hence, it is nondual.
Experience belongs to individuality. And from the standpoint of the Soul, the ‘Self’ individuality is a falsehood. There is neither individual nor his experience in reality.
You and your experience of the world cannot exist without waking experience.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the waking experience itself is an illusion.
Whatever we are discussing, we are discussing in the illusory waking experience. Whatever belongs to waking experience is bound to be a falsehood.
Thus, we cannot experience the ‘Self’. The ‘Self' has to be realized in order to get rid of ignorance, which is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion or Maya as a reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The religious robe is the symbol of ignorance because religion is based on the foundation of ignorance.+

The religious robe is the symbol of ignorance because religion is based on the foundation of ignorance. People have the wrong impression that the one who wears a religious robe is a Gnani.

By having coiled hair, one will not become a Gnani. By wearing a religious robe one will not get Advaitic Gnana.
By studying under a famous guru, one cannot get rid of ignorance. Scriptural mastery one will not get Advaitic wisdom. By taking sanyasa or monkhood, one is not qualified to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
All the holy men, gurus, saints, and yogis belong to the religious path, which is meant for the ignorant populace. The Atmic path is nothing to do with religion.

Those who are seriously searching for truth have to take the Atmic path, not the religious or yogic path.
Select Works of Sage Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad: ~ “Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."
Enlightened or not, the venerated Indian Sage Sankara in his work The Crest Jewel of Discrimination (1) or as it is sometimes known, Viveka Chudamani (2), states that the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).
Continuing, although there are variances found in the actual wording between various translators and translations the gist behind the words remains the same,
Sage Sankara writes: ~ “Sometimes he appears to be a fool, sometimes a wise man. Sometimes he seems splendid as a king, sometimes feeble-minded. Sometimes he is calm and silent. Sometimes he draws men to him. Sometimes people honor him greatly, sometimes they insult him. Sometimes they ignore him.

Unless one realizes the Soul as the Self as it really is” it is impossible to realize the Advaitic truth.
By becoming a sanyasi or monk one will not get Self-realization or truth realization or God-realization.
What is the use of becoming a sanyasi or monk when the ‘Self ‘is not you? You are the false self.
Sage Sankara himself said:~A Gnani "bears no outward mark of a holy man." (Stanza 539).
A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and his religious identity and becomes Avadhuta and live as he wishes.
Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread." (Select Works of Sage Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad)
Thus, the above passage proves that all those who were the sanyasin robes are wearing them for the sake of bread belong to the religion; they are nothing to do with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Manduka Upanishads: - It is very difficult to find out who is a Gnani because he bears no external mark. Neither nudity nor the yellow robe has anything to do with him.
There is no need to criticize and condemn the gurus, yogis, and swamis because they are needed for the welfare of the ignorant masses to preach morals and ethics, love, compassion, and harmony in the dualistic world.

Remember:~

Exploring if an outside observer can, in all cases, determine if a person is Enlightened or not, the venerated Sage Sankara, in his work The Crest-Jewel of Discrimination (1) or as it is sometimes known, Viveka Chudamani (2), states that the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).

Sage Sankara writes (on a Gnani): - “Sometimes he appears to be a Fool, sometimes a wise man. Sometimes he seems splendid as a king, sometimes feeble-minded. Sometimes he is calm and silent. Sometimes he draws men to him. Sometimes people honor him greatly, sometimes they insult him. Sometimes they ignore him.

Sage Sankara:~ "The ignorant see the body of a knower of Brahman(Gnani) and identify him with it. Actually the Soul the innermost Self' is free from the body and every other kind of bondage. To the Self, the body is merely a shadow."

Manduka Upanishads: ~ It is difficult to find out who is a Gnani because he bears no external mark. Neither nudity nor the yellow robe has anything to do with him.

A Gnani cannot have the idea of renouncing the world or giving up something of the practical world, because that would connote the idea of duality. Duality is merely an illusion from the ultimate standpoint. Knowing no second thing at all there remains nothing to be given up.

Self- Knowledge is only true knowledge not the absence of duality. Self -Knowledge cannot destroy the world but it eliminates ignorance and exposes the unreal nature of the mind or universe.

A Gnani is the one who has realized the universe in which he exists is nothing but consciousness.

Self-awareness is unique. It cannot be experienced because it is prior to any experience. It is possible only by the realization of the knowledge of the Infinite."

A Gnani sees only unity in diversity, just like a goldsmith estimating the gold in various items of jewelry sees only gold.

When one identifies the Self with the form then only the form, time and space are present. But when one transcends form, time, and space the duality never remains as reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
