God in truth is not tasty and it is a bitter pill to swallow. Religion made God tasty with its mythical toppings.+

God in truth is not tasty and it is a bitter pill to swallow. Religion made God tasty with its mythical toppings. Every region has created its own myth and propagated its own GOD to the ignorant populace. Religion is the cause of the separation of humanity.  Today humanity is facing wars, violence, terrorism, in the name of religious God and religion.

Democracy and religion will not go hand in hand.  Democracy has its own code of conduct and religion has its own. So there is always conflict.  Religion is outdated to suit modern society.

Until and unless the whole of humanity is made aware what God is in truth is the truth of our true existence not what we believe and worship.

God in truth is not religious. God is universal and belongs to the whole of humanity.  All Gods of the beliefs are mere imaginary.

Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)”,

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~    God is  Supreme Spirit.

Vedas and Upanishad confirm the Soul, the Self, is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than the consciousness.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad declares: "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Those who indulge in the perverted argument from their own standpoint and opinion about God are not seeking the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

It is high time humanity has become fanatics of the truth to bring the universal brotherhood.  The truth is the only thing that can cure all propagated by the belief system.

Jesus said: - Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)

~ Jesus meant Knowledge of the Spirit, the God, or Self-knowledge.

3. Jesus said:~ "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you. (Jesus spoke and Didymos Judas Thomas recorded)

5. Jesus said:~  "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.

For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. [And there is nothing buried that will not be raised.]" (Jesus spoke and didymos Judas Thomas recorded)

Sage Sri, Sankara says: - VC-47-All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.

India is the ancient land, where wisdom made its home India whose soil has been trodden by the feet of the greatest sages of truth like Bhagavan  Buddha, Sage  Sankara, and Sage Goudpada.

India is the fountainhead of Advaitic wisdom. Advaitic wisdom is brighter, greater which unfolds the mystery of the universe contains the whole of humanity.

Today humanity needs universal brotherhood and peace for the whole of humanity to live with love and harmony not to indulge in the bloodbath.

The goal of every human being is to realize God in truth.   The truth is inherent in every seeker of truth.  The truth does not come from outside, it is hidden within the world by which we exist. Thus, humanity has to wake up and seek the truth.

Tattireya Upanishad: ~ “The Self in man and in the sun is one. Those who understand this see through the world and go beyond the various sheaths of being to realize the unity of life. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Mundaka Upanishad:- The Para or Higher knowledge is the knowledge of the Supreme Being while the Apara or Lower Knowledge.+

Mundaka Upanishad condemns rituals.  The Para or Higher knowledge is the knowledge of the Supreme Being while the Apara or Lower Knowledge is that of following sacrificial rites and ceremonies. (1/2/ 1 – 6)
**
Physical & mental discipline such as Karma, Mantra Yoga, and Yajna, Puja Japa Blind devotion to deity or Guru is not the tool for liberation or freedom from experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality. It is the dualistic cult including Advaitic orthodoxy propagates these disciplines. Such disciplines and codes of conduct have no value if one is seeking ultimate truth or Brahman to get Nondualistic Self-awareness.

Mysticism, scriptural knowledge, penance based Scholasticism are great hindrances to Self –realization. Inherited blind belief with corresponding actions based on scriptures, worship, ritual faith that imply certain mental and physical discipline, or scripture supporting belief, faith, creed, ritual, theological knowledge personal or opinion leads to hallucinated knowledge.  All these become a great hindrance in grasping the understanding, assimilating, and realizing the Advaitic or non-dual truth.

Scriptural mastery including ancient Sastras, Tarka, and Samkhya disciplines to support Karmas & belief Bhakti Argument & interpretation with help of logic, grammar, etc. to support beliefs, revelations, prayers, etc. In addition, dogmas, theological or other based on authorities.

That is why Sage Sankara said:Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg~25
Sage Sankara says:~ The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards are therefore addressed to an ignorant person.

SageSankara:~ (11) As regards the rituals, Sage Sankara says, the person who performs rituals and aspires for rewards will view himself in terms of the caste into which he is born, his age, the stage of his life, his standing in society, etc. In addition, he is required to perform rituals all through his life. However, the 'Self' has none of those attributes or tags. Hence, the person who superimposes all those attributes on the changeless, eternal Self and identifies Self with the body is confusing one for the other; and is, therefore, an ignorant person. The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards, etc. are therefore addressed to an ignorant person. -Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara:~ (11.1) This ignorance (mistaking the body for Self) brings in its wake a desire for the well-being of the body, aversion for its disease or discomfort, fear of its destruction, and thus a host of miseries(anartha). This anartha is caused by projecting karthvya(“doer” sense) and bhokthavya (object) on the Atman. Sankara calls this adhyasa. The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards, etc. are, therefore, he says, addressed to an ignorant person. -Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara:~ (11.2) In short, a person who engages in rituals with the notion “I am an agent, doer, thinker”, according to Sage Sankara, is ignorant, as his behavior implies a distinct, separate doer/agent/knower; and an object that is to be done/achieved/known. That duality is avidya, an error that can be removed by Vidya.-Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara: ~ (12) Sage Sankara affirming his belief in one eternal unchanging reality (Brahman) and the illusion of plurality, drives home the point that Upanishads deal not with rituals but with the knowledge of the Absolute (Brahma Vidya) and the Upanishads give us an insight into the essential nature of the Self which is identical with the Absolute, the Brahman.-Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara: ~ Atman, the Self is verily Brahman (God), being equanimous, quiescent, and by nature absolute Existence, Knowledge, and Bliss. Atman is not the body that is non-existence itself. This is called true Knowledge by the wise.

Everyone’s inner work is on.  The Soul is the innermost Self. The Soul the inner Guru guides us all till we get the stillness of its Advaitic true nature. It is the Soul that is in ignorance it is the Soul that has to wake from the sleep of ignorance. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

The seeker has to include the world, which confronts him in his inquiry then only what is hidden from him will be disclosed to him.+

The seeker has to include the world, which confronts him in his inquiry then only what is hidden from him will be disclosed to him.
Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.
5. Jesus said:~  "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.
For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. [And there is nothing buried that will not be raised.]" (Jesus spoke and didymos Judas Thomas recorded)
Sage Sankara: ~ VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.
If you realize the world is created out of single stuff and that stuff is the consciousness then there is nothing was hidden that will not be revealed. The consciousness alone is real and all the attributes are an illusion.
All the attributes are present only in the domain of form, time, and space whereas the truth is the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
All attributes based on philosophy or knowledge are based on the dualistic perspective. Whatever is based on the dualistic perspective is egocentric knowledge.
All egocentric knowledge is based on falsehood. The ego (you) is the false self within the false experience.
Katha Upanishad:~"Caught in the grip of ignorance, Self-proclaimed experts consider themselves learned authorities. They wander about this world befooled, like the blind leading the blind. (1.2.5)
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is Soulcentric knowledge. Whatever is based on the Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
All that is real in the world in which we exist is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the Self.
By realizing the ‘Self’ is not you but the Soul, we find that the  God in truth is hidden by the world in which we exist.
All the attributes (quality) are merely an illusion to the Soul, the Self. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is attributeless (quality-less) because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Nondual Awareness is the nature of the Soul, the Self. When the Soul, the Self remains in its own Awareness then it is unattached and unshaken. It is lucid, silent, peaceful, alert, and unafraid, without desire and fear because it is free from the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Reflect on the nature of the Soul by realizing the world, in which you exist is created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

When you get a firm conviction that the whole universe is created out of single stuff and that single stuff is consciousness then that very conviction leads to Self-awareness in the midst of diversity. Then there is unity in diversity in your realization. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Realize right here and right now ~ The ‘Self is not you but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is birthless and deathless.+

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

Realize right here and right now ~ The ‘Self is not you, but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is birthless and deathless because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

If the ‘Self', not you but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness then the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

Whatever is real in the world in which we exist is consciousness. All that is real in the world in which we exist is the Soul, the Self.
Thus, by realizing the Self, which is the Soul, we discover the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness itself is God which is hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion.
Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted other than consciousness as the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (consciousness) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

The world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion created out of the ‘Self’ which is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Whatever you have seen, known, believed and experienced as a person in this world the dualistic illusion.   Thus, your existence is bound to an illusion created out of consciousness, which is real and eternal.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is the permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.

Sage Sankara:~VC~ " This universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.

The world in which you exist is nothing but an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The experience of the birth, life, and death that takes place within the illusory world in which you exist is bound to be an illusion.

You and your worries and the world in which you exist are nothing to do with the ‘Soul, the  Self’.  All your restlessness, misery unhappiness is because of the ignorance.  The world in which you exist is the product of ignorance. Till ignorance is present you and your experience of the world prevail as a reality.  In reality, the world in which you exist is merely an illusion.

Till ignorance is there, the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is experienced as a reality. If the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is experienced as a reality the pleasure and suffering of life are bound to be a reality.

To realize the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is an illusion,  one has to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space.  Till ignorance is there, the experience of birth, life, death, and the world will prevail as a reality.  Thus, Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is necessary to get rid of ignorance.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana free the Soul from experiencing the illusory birth, life, death, and the world as a reality.

It is not you who has to get Mukthi. It is the Soul, the 'Self' has to get Mukthi from you and your experience of the world.   You and your world are the product of ignorance. It is the Soul, which is in ignorance of its own true nature. It is the Soul, which seeks to be free from the illusory prison of the dualistic illusion.

There are no steps to Self-realisation only an intense urge to realize the truth leads to the ultimate end.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is irreversible.  Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana rotate into a Soulcentric dimension, the Soul remains in its own awareness without any division of form, time, and space in the midst of the dualistic illusion of the form, time, and space.

On Self-realisation the Soul, the 'Self' sees everything as it is...  The dualistic illusion of form, time and space is left behind. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Millions of people placed their heads on the Gurus' feet, garlanded them worshiped them and if they have not got Self-realization, then what is the use of all this?+

Millions of people placed their heads on the Gurus' feet, garlanded them worshiped them, called them their Sadguru, and if they have not got Self-realization, then what is the use of all this?

By indulging in Guru Worship, your ignorance will not vanish. Guru belongs to religion, not spirituality. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is pure spirituality and it is nothing to do with religion.

Surrendering to Guru is a religious fable. Surrendering to ‘what’ when there is only one. Surrendering to Guru keeps you in prison of ignorance. Surrendering implies duality. Realizing there is no duality leads to nondualistic Self-awareness.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the only tool to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.

All the Gurus, teachings practices, bookish knowledge are on the dualistic perspective; therefore they will not help the seeker to cross the threshold of dualistic illusion. The ultimate truth is based on the nondualist perspective.

Nothing is needed to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space other than realizing the form, time and space are created out of single stuff.

That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Only a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed. By realizing form, time and space are one in essence and that essence is consciousness leads to non-dualistic or Advaitic Self-awareness. When we drop all our accumulated knowledge and start afresh it becomes easier to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

There is no need for a Guru in the Atmic path

Swami Vivekananda said: ~   “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

The scriptures are not needed in the pursuit of truth. Even the Upanishads and the Sages of truth declare the same.

Katha Upanishad:~ This Atman cannot be attained by the study of the Vedas, or by intelligence, nor by much hearing of sacred books. It is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. ( Ch-II -23-P-20)

Mundaka Upanishad: - This Atman cannot be attained through the study of the Vedas, nor through intelligence, nor through much learning. He who chooses Atman—by him alone is Atman attained. It is Atman that reveals to the seeker Its true nature. (3 –page-70 Upanishads by Nikilanada)

The ultimate truth has to be ascertained without the scriptures by realizing the ‘‘Self’’ is neither the waking entity not the dream entity, but the ‘Self’ is formless Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. In the realm of truth the form, time, and space are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness.

Realizing the single stuff as ultimate truth is Self-realization or Truth realization. To realize this truth, there is no need for scriptures.

The ultimate truth has to be realized first, and then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying.

Scriptures are being added from time to time. This process will go on. There is the final authority among them? One contradicts the other: duality reigns supreme.

I quote scriptural citation only after the verification reality and proved the truth, to point out that the scriptures teach the same thing. If one quotes them before having demonstrated truth, then it is scholasticism.

Sage Sankara:~   Loud speech, the profusion of words, and possessing skilfulness in expounding scriptures are merely for the enjoyment of the learned.  They do not lead to Liberation."

Mundaka Upanishads: So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children “Is what I have seen or thought really the truth?" (P.334 line 9)

The Scriptures' mastery, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth or Brahman. The ultimate truth is revealed in the clear understanding and realization of ‘what is the truth? and ‘what is the untruth?  When one realizes the untruth (universe) is created out of single stuff, the ‘Self’-awareness rises in the midst of duality exposing the unreal nature of the form, time, and space.

An adherent of the orthodox philosopher may say his philosophy teaches so and so", another man may object and say, “No, his religious philosophy teaches such and such." Thus, they may go on uttering contradictions in the name of philosophy. True philosophy deals only with the appeal to facts, not theories.

Where scriptures and authorities do not agree with the reason, the seeker of truth must reject them.

How is one to know that the scriptures are true? The seeker has to look into the facts, for the proof of what has the worship of God done for the people! When a tsunami occurred in Japan, God did not save the believers of Japan. Thus, God saves the one who prays such an argument is of no value in pursuit of truth.

People believe scripture is infallible but deeper Self-search reveals the fact that they are a mere book of words. The words are merely an expression of thoughts. Then it is impossible to see if the scripture-writers thoughts are founded in fact or not.

The fallacy of orthodoxy’s appeal to scripture lies in the varying and conflicting interpretations of the same scripture, which different men feel, entitled to give or hold.

The scriptures are for the ignorant masses, who wholly accept the practical life within the practical world as it presents itself. Gnana is for those who have begun to realize that things are not what they seem.

Where scriptures and authorities do not agree with the reason, the seeker of truth must reject them.

Scriptural knowledge is conceptual divisions invented by teachers of philosophy by their excessive analysis.  All these concepts are a great obstacle in the pursuit of truth.    Why should confusion be created and then explained away? Fortunate is the man who does not lose himself in the labyrinths of philosophy but goes straight to the source from which they all arise.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Guru, disciple concept is meant for the religious and yogic path. In Atmic path, the Guru and disciple concept have no value.+

The Guru and disciple and the world in which Guru and disciple exist are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness.  The consciousness is the ultimate truth of Brahman.

Identifying as a Guru or some Guru’s disciple keeps one in the cage of ignorance.  A person who identifies himself as a Guru or disciple will never be able to get Advaitic Gnana.

Guru &disciple concept is meant for the religious and yogic path.  In the Atmic path, the Guru and disciple concept have no value.
A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and all religious identity and live like a commoner. He never identifies himself as Gnani nor does he identify himself as superior to others. He only shares his knowledge with fellow seekers.
A Gnani never identifies himself as a Guru or a Yogi or someone disciple.  The one who accepts himself as a Guru or someone’s disciple is not a Gnani.

Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.

A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work. The truth-seeker seeks only truth. The inner Sage will guide you with love. Your sincerity and seriousness lead you to your inner core.  Sincere and serious seekers are not excluded.
All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality.  All the seekers of truth are chosen ones.
Katha Upanishads: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (II -23-P-20)
All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality.  All the seekers of truth are chosen ones.

Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread." (Select Works of Sage  Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad)

Thus, the above passage proves that all those who were the sannyasin robes are wearing it for the sake of bread belongs to the religion; they are nothing to do with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. There is no need to criticize and condemn the Gurus, yogis, and swamis because they are needed for the welfare of ignorant masses in the dualistic world.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ Then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~   “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

Yogis and Gurus are not Gods.

This idea of worshiping Guru as God is not a Vedic idea but adopted from Jainism and Buddhism.

Vedas bars human worship: ~
"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.":~  (Yajur Veda 40:9.)
then why worship and glorify the Gurus and Yogis (human form)   in place of God when Veda bars such activities and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.
No one has ever seen God by practicing religion or yoga or indulging in glorifying the religious God and Goddesses because God exists prior to the form, time, and space.  The form, time, and space cease to exist as a reality when wisdom dawns. Thus, the Gods and Gurus have no place in the domain of the Advaitic reality. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is the real God.  Thus, Self-realization is the only way to God-realization.

By worshipping the religious Gods and Gurus one will not get Self-realization or God-realization.
The Soul, the inner Guru reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready. :~Santthosh Kumaar
