Until you hold the ‘Self ‘as the ‘I’ you will never be able to get Self-realization.+


Bhagvad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

‘I’ is an illusion and the ‘I-LESS’ is real and eternal. The ‘I-LESS ‘appears as ‘I’ and ‘I ’‘disappears as I-LESS. 

The Soul is not ‘I’. ‘Self is not the ‘I’.  The Soul is the Self. The Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ is the witness of the ‘I’ which appears and disappears.

You are seeking to realize the truth of your true existence.  To discover the truth, there is a need to understand the nature of the ‘I’.   Without knowing what this ‘I’ supposed to be an actuality you will never be able to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.
                                                                                                                                   
Till you hold the ‘Self ‘as the ‘I’ you will never be able to get Self-realization.  ‘I’ hides the Soul, which is the innermost Self.

Know what this ‘I’ is first.  Without realizing what this ‘I’ is supposed to be it is impossible for the Soul to free itself from the dualistic illusion.

The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole. The ‘I’ hides the truth.

'I’ is ignorance.

‘I’ is the duality.

‘I’ is form, time, and space.

‘I’ is the universe.

‘I’ is the waking.

‘I’ is the dream.

‘I’ is the illusion.

‘I’ is the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.

Remember:~

Without the ‘I’ there is no ignorance.

Without the ‘I’ there is no duality.

Without the ‘I’ there is no form, time, and space.

Without the ‘I’ there is no universe.

Without the ‘I’ there is no waking.

Without the ‘I’ there is no dream.

Without the ‘I’ there is no illusion.

Without the ‘I’ there is no experience of birth, life, death, and the world.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say ‘I,’, If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, you are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes.” (2.18)
Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true”.
Bhagavan Buddha: ~” There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

When the Advaitic wisdom dawns then this ‘I’ which you think as reality becomes unreal.  It is time to discard the ‘I’. Never use the word  ‘I’ or I AM for the Self.   

Remember:~ 

The ‘I’ is not limited to you and me because the ‘I’ is the whole universe. Without the ‘I’ the universe ceases to exist. The universe is present in form, time, and space.

The word ‘I’ indicates form, time, and space. Without the ‘I’ the form, time and space cease to exist.  The existence is hidden by the ‘I’. The Self is not the ‘I’ but the Self is the Soul hidden by the ‘I’. 

The words are mere communication purposes. If you call it ‘Brahman’ or ‘God’ or the ‘ultimate truth’ or ‘Christ consciousness,’ it is one and the same thing. 
We all exist within the dualistic illusion. The words are the only tool to indicate the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.   It is impossible to use language without words and expresses a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.  :~ Santthosh Kumaar

The Advaitic wisdom is meant for those who wish to go beyond the illusory form, time, and space.+


The Sages of truth are not religious Gurus or Saints.  The religion and its mythological Gods and mythological Gods are nothing to with the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

All sect-based beliefs are dualistic and unphilosophical nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman.  In spirituality, the ultimate truth is God in truth.

Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India (Advaitic wisdom ) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today as they did then. It is not yoga but the philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into truth and have no time for it. (Gita ~ Chap ~IV~ v.2)

In Gita Chap.IV where Lord Krishna says: ~ “This yoga has been lost for ages" the word yoga refers to Gnana yoga, not other yogas: the force of the word this is to point this out.

Lord Krishna describes some of the other yogas but devotes this chapter separately to Gnana Yoga. So one sees even in those ancient days people did not care for Advaita; they wanted religion; hence Gnana got lost. That is why Krishna calls it "the supreme secret." Krishna points out that yoga must-see "Brahman in action."

Gita Chap.IV:~ “He who achieves perfection in Yoga finds the Self in time." This means that after his yoga is finished, he begins the inquiry into ultimate truth, and in due course, this inquiry produces the realization of the universal spirit as the result.

Understanding what is God is not so easy. Religious people can only imagine God based on their beliefs.

That is why Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~Those who know the Self in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.
No duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.
Bhagavad Gita: ~brahmano hi pratisthaham” ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27)
It proves that the all-pervading Atman, which is present in the form of consciousness, is God.   Thus worshipping the form-based Gods is meant for the ignorant populace who are incapable of realizing the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.  
Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ Know the ‘Self’ without the form, time, and space.
Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."
There are two kinds of audiences - the ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices, and the more advanced seeker who seeks to know the truth beyond the form, time, and space. The Bhagavad Gita is meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way. The Advaitic wisdom is meant for those who wish to go beyond form, time, and space.

The Soul, the ‘Self is the Infinite God. 
The Soul is the innermost Self. God is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. God is the fullness of the consciousness without the illusory division of form, time, and space.  Therefore, there is nothing apart from it. 
God is Self-evident. God is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny God because God is the very essence of the one who denies it. God is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. God is within the universe in which you exist, God is without the universe in which you exist.

The Vedas confirm God is Atman (spirit), the Self.
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~  God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth,  Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Nothing matters but realize  God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.  

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
People, who worship the belief of God, are hallucinating that they become one with such God.

Vedas itself says: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization itself is real worship.
How can you worship God? That implies two ~ the worshipper and the worshiped, whereas God is nondual. One can worship his idea of God only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as apart.
When Upanishads and Vedas declare that, “God is present in the form of the Athma, and God is indeed Athma itself” then why accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman.

God is the Supreme Being the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness and intelligence, which is beyond the form, time, and space. To which the Sages describe in a variety of ways through diverse words.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is nothing to do with orthodox belief systems.

Some philosophers in the past dissented from this interpretation of Vedanta philosophy, holding that the Incarnated Souls were separate from the Divine Essence and only finally merged with it after the cycles of birth. All these theoretical philosophies are based on the imagination based on the false self (ego or you) within the false experience (waking).
It is quite easy to do this even by those who have never understood the Upanishads but think they have. Thus, the dualists and their disciples have written commentaries on scriptures: But all these have written to satisfy themselves, not to get the truth because all their interoperation are based on the dualistic perspective. The truth will reveal only when one is able to reason from the non-dualistic perspective.
Likewise, thinkers and poets of the Age of Devotion (Bhakti) of the 16th century believed in a God with attributes who became very tangible when incarnating as God and was attainable simply through love and devotion rather than scholastic and intellectual meditation.
For them, the Bhagavad Gita became the main vehicle of inspiration with its qualified and deistic Monism, rather than the scholastic and esoteric path shown by Sage  Sankara.:~Santthosh Kumaar

When the soul wakes up from its sleep of ignorance and consciously remains in its own awareness in the midst of the dualistic illusion is Moksha.

There is no other goal other than Self-realization is the supreme goal within the dualistic illusion.

The Soul appeared as the world in which we exist, the world in which we exist is nothing but an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

 The Soul is God. The Soul alone is the ultimate truth or Brahman.  The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is without the second.  The truth is ever truth and the untruth is always untruth, the untruth hides the truth.

The Soul is what gives the sentient to the illusory world in which we exist.  The Soul pervades everywhere and in everything in the world in which we exist.  The Soul is the fullness of the consciousness unlimited by form, time, and space.  it is self-luminous, existence and awareness.  None can deny it because it is the basis of the very world in which we exist. Denying the existence of the Soul is denying the world in which the denier exists.  

The world exists because of the Soul.  The Soul is the Self.  The Self is not you but the Soul, which is the cause of the world in which you exist.  The Soul is not within your body because the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness pervades everywhere and in everything in the world in which you exist.

Drop the idea is that the Soul is within your body.  Mentally detach the Soul from the world in which you exist by realizing the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. therefore, the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. if the world in which you exist is merely an illusion then there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. Thus, everything is consciousness.

Sage Sankara:~ VC Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated ~ yet, without the realization of one‘s identity with the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together. (verses-6)

Scientific knowledge is limited to form, time and space. The Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is beyond form, time, and space.  The birth, life, death, and the world are within the domain of form, time, and space. The Soul, the innermost Self, is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. 

Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist.  Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Swami Vivekananda aptly described Sage Sankara’s Advaita as the fairest flower of philosophy that any country in any age has produced.
The Advaitic truth is a rational or scientific truth declared by Bhagwan Buddha and Sage Sankara centuries back, but unfortunately, the original essence of the rational Advaita is lost mainly, because of orthodox adulteration and add-ons, which are based on the ego (waking entity), which is the false self within the false experience (waking).
The seeker has to first indulge in deeper self-search without scriptures and understand assimilate the Advaitic truth, which leads to self-awareness. Thus, soul-centric thinking, reasoning, and judgment are very much necessary in the pursuit of truth.
Sage Gaudapada:~ The non-dual Atman is realized when the individual self (jiva) is awakened from its ignorance. Atman is unborn, dreamless, sleepless, and motionless and is beyond duality. It is cognition at its purest. It is Brahman- Ayam Atma Brahma, this Atma is that Brahma; Thus epitomizing the core of Upanishad teachings.
Sage Gaudapada expands further on these states of consciousness. The Self is AUM.

It represents the manifest and unmanifest aspects of Brahman. It is the single syllable that symbolizes and embodies Brahman, the Absolute Reality. It is the Pranava that pervades all existence and is our very life breath.

Vaisvanara in the waking state is A the first part of AUM, One, who realizes this, attains his desires.
Teijasa in the dream state is U the second part of AUM. One, who realizes this, attains knowledge.
Prajna in deep sleep is M the third part of AUM, concluding the sounds of the earlier two parts. One, who realizes this, attains a compressive understanding of all.
The Syllable AUM in its entirety stands for the fourth state, Turiya the one beyond the phenomenal existence, supremely blissful and non-dual.
AUM in its integral whole stands for the fourth state which is transcendental, devoid of phenomenal existence, and is the source of all existence. AUM represents Ultimate Reality.
AUM is thus verily the Self itself. One who realizes this merges into that Self. Meditate on AUM as the Self.
Sage Sankara ’says:~ "Kuruthe Ganga sahar gamanam Vratha paripal mathva dhanam. Gyana Vihine.Sarva Mathene.”
Gnana is common to all religions. There is nothing like One Gnana for a Hindu and another for a Christian.
The philosophy of Sage Sankara can be summed up in the following statement:-
Brahma Satyam, Jagannatha, jivobrahmaivanaparah: - Brahman alone is real; the world is non-real and the individual Self is essentially not different from Brahman.
This is the quintessence of Sage Sankara’s metaphysics.
Consciousness is the one single reality or Brahman. The individual self is a reality within the duality. There is no individual in the realm of the non-dual reality.
Sage Sankara says:~ One alone exists, and the rest is all superimposition on that One, due to ignorance.
Through a systematic inquiry into the nature of the mind, which is present in the form of the universe, one arrives at the position that the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
The Soul, the Self is constant and, therefore, real, while the phenomena constituting the universe are constantly changing and, therefore, unreal. The final conclusion is that the form, time, and space or the universe are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. Thus, no second thing exists other than consciousness.
The seeker of truth has to take into account all three states of our existence, which is waking, dream, and deep sleep ~ in waking or dream one experiences duality, and in deep sleep, there is only non-duality. In order to obtain a complete picture of our existential reality, we need to include evidence from all three states. This is the phenomenology of consciousness.
Consciousness is one only, without a second. One experience the manifold universe ignorance ~ led illusion “covers" the One and "projects" the Many. The illusion is the veil on consciousness. In truth, only One, non-dual Reality is all there is. Consciousness is all-pervasive. It is intrinsically Real, self-effulgent, infinite, undifferentiated Pure.
When the soul, the innermost self, wakes up to its own formless nondual true nature, the ignorance ceases, and the illusion, which is present in the form of duality never again experienced as reality.
The show of the illusory duality, however, continues, as before. Only our identification with a particular actor's role is gone forever because the self is in its own awareness.
Self-awareness is Brahmic Bliss! This state is already ours always in deep sleep in a "general" way. When the Self-Knowledge dawns then one is awake to it in a "special" way in the midst of duality.
Atman=Brahman or the Self, capture the essence of the immanent (Self) and the transcendent (Brahman) Reality. Humanity has not yet conceived a more lofty conception of its position in the universe.
Advaita only means the negation of duality. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Consciousness is the cause of the origin, maintenance, and withdrawal of the universe is Advaita (i.e. non-dual), which means that consciousness transcends all conceptions, positive and negative. Nothing positive can ever be imagined or said about it.

Consciousness is existence absolute, awareness absolute. Existence absolute means that consciousness is not unreal or non-existent. And it is not the unconsciousness. Nothing positive can be stated about consciousness. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Bhagvad Gita has been interpreted in a thousand ways, according to the author’s capacity to understand the test of all these is the reason. Only a few understood Bhagvad Gita.

Bhagavad Gita is a hodgepodge containing everything; hence it suits the populace because there is something in it for every type of mindset. It is difficult to find any tradition whose voice is not found in the Gita. It is difficult to find anyone who does not take solace from the Bhagavad Gita. But for such people, the Advaitic path will prove very difficult. 

Once you are Soulcentric you will know what Bhagavad Gita and other scriptures really meant, you will see that there is only one possible interpretation, irrespective of your opinion or imagination.

Bhagavad Gita does not contain higher wisdom. Bhagavad Gita is intended for those who are incapable of thinking rationally.

People love Bhagavad Gita because it is very easy to extract one's own meaning from it. Reading Bhagavad Gita a religious believer extracts something of which he can make a belief because Bhagavad Gita speaks on bhakti, devotion. The karma yogi extracts his belief because Lord Krishna has spoken on karma yoga, the Yoga of action. The believer in knowledge finds what he wants because Bhagavad Gita has spoken on knowledge as well. Somewhere Krishna calls bhakti the ultimate, somewhere else he calls knowledge the ultimate, again elsewhere he calls karma yoga the ultimate.

Lord Krishna taught the Karma and Bhakti yogis their own paths only to lead them up to the Gnana yoga path, which is the highest and the real object of his teaching.

Bhagavad Gita: 4: 42:~ ".....cut all such conflicting dualities (doubts) by the sword (weapon) of knowledge. ....."
Bhagavad Gita: 5: 18:~The learned men (who have come out of delusions (Māyā), got rid of Avidya) see no differentiation have equal vision for a revered Brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a cāndāla (outcaste, rogue, mleccha, demonic person, etc)"
Bhagavad Gita: 5: 19:~ "Those who have achieved the true knowledge i.e. the 'Self-Knowledge' or the 'knowledge of Atman' and see no difference, are free from conflicting dualities have merged in Brahman"
Bhagavad Gita: 5: 20:~ "One who does not get excited out of happiness on getting good and does not get depressed on getting bad is situated in Brahman i.e. is merged in Brahman"
Bhagavad Gita: 6: 9:~  "The one who has equal vision for a Selfless do-gooder, a friend, a foe, an unbiased, a well-wisher, a depressed and jealous man, relatives, a righteous and a sinner is the best (as he sees no duality and differentiation but sees everything as Ātman)"
Bhagvad Gita: 6: 32:~ “.....as one seeks and treats oneself with equal vision, the same way one who has an equal vision for good and evil, for everybody, is the best of all"
Bhagvad Gita: 6: 8: ~ "For whom soil, a pebble, and gold are alike, he is merged in Brahman"
Bhagavad-Gita Gita: 7: 27:~ ".....people are getting entangled in the primordial ignorance (Avidya) of the conflicting dualities like good and evil, happiness and sorrow caused due to attachments, desires, and hatred....."
Bhagvad Gita: 6: 28:~ “.....who have cut-off conflicting dualities (like good and evil) is determinedly in my service. ...."
Bhagvad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, in the last birth in the series of many births worships Me as~ Atman alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare"
The earliest part of Bhagvad Gita deals with religion because it is for mentally immature persons, but in the latter part, you get philosophy as that is intended for the intellectually evolved. You can’t make all men genius,   and therefore religion is provided for them.

Lord Krishna himself says that he can do nothing to make a man intelligent straight away. The adepts give Prasad, blessing, initiations, mantrams, etc. only to confer temporary peace of mind, to help one to get rid of worries, but not to confer Gnana. The capacity to receive it must first be inborn in man by evolutionary degree.

In the statement in Bhagavad Gita which says that the path of the Unmanifest is harder than others, this path means Gnana Yoga.

The Upanishads and Gita do not give detailed explanations because the knowledge of those days was not as advanced as it is nowadays. However, there are odd words here and there which give hints.

Bhagvad Gita gives dualistic worship of "God” only for the lower minds; it also indicates the Advaitic wisdom for the more evolved.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Go s. (7- Verse -20)
Only the path of wisdom leads the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the true nature of the Universal Essence, which is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad IV-13:~As a mass of salt has neither inside nor outside, but is entirely a mass of taste, thus indeed, has that Self neither inside nor outside but is altogether a mass of Knowledge. Just as a lump of salt has inside as well as outside one and the same saltish taste, not any other taste, so also that Brahman (consciousness) has inside as well as outside one and the same intelligence. Inside and outside are mental creations only. When the mind melts in silence, ideas of inside and outside vanish. The sages cognize one illimitable, homogeneous mass of consciousness only.
Causality taught in the Upanishads is only to enable us to understand the supreme truth of no-origination. The world is not different from the consciousness and the consciousness is not different from the Soul, the Self, and the Soul is not different from the ultimate truth or Brahman. That the consciousness appears as the diverse world is only an illusion. If it really became diverse then the immortal would become mortal.
The dualists who seek to prove the origination of the unborn, by that very enterprise try to make the immortal, mortal. Ultimate nature can never change - the immortal can never become mortal and vice versa.

Aham Brahmasmi ~ I am God, I am Brahman.+


The man alone does not become Brahman (God) because the world in which man exists is merely an illusion.  The illusion is created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
The Self is not you because you are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.
The experience of birth, life, death, and the world is nothing to do with the Soul, the Self. When you are not the Self, then how can you relate the Self with your experience of birth, life, death, and the world. When the Soul wakes up with its own awareness, then you and your experience of the world becomes unreal the same way as the dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place.
It is foolish to say ‘I AM GOD’ when the Self is not you,  but the Self is the Soul. Therefore, the Soul, the Self,  is God in truth.
People say Aham Brahmasmi ~ I am God, I am Brahman. But when Brahman is, how can "I" remain? Only Brahman remains, not the ‘I’.
The Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27)
Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~    God is  Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus,   Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

People who are saying ‘I Am GOD’ are hallucinating that they become God. First,  you must know what is God supposed to be in truth. 

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say "mine," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

Only religious Godmen declare: I AM GOD. Gnanis say the Soul, the Self is God. :~Santthosh Kumaar
