The seeker has to find answers to clear doubts and confusion which arises in deeper investigation of Sage Ramana Maharishi's ~ “Who Am I? +

The seeker has to find answers to clear doubts and confusion which arise in a deeper investigation of Sage Ramana Maharishi's ~ Who Am I?”

Humanity is part and parcel of the illusion. ‘I’ and ‘I AM’ are the center of physical existence. Until ‘I’ or ‘I Am’ is there the universe or the mind is there until the universe is there we all exist experiencing the duality as a reality.

The ‘I’ is ignorance. Till one holds the ‘I’ as the  Self it is impossible to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  Thus,   the seeker has to get rid of the ignorance, which is present in the form of ‘I’, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Communication happens within the duality, and the duality is not a reality from the ultimate standpoint. When the true Self is not limited to ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ but pervades the whole physical existence or universe then how one can refer to ‘I' or ‘I AM', which ceases to exist without the universe.  Thus, the Self is within the ‘I’ but it is without the ‘I’.

Holding ‘I’ or ‘I am’ as Self will lead one towards intellectual speculation thus, it has to be avoided.   Ultimate truth or Brahman has to be grasped and realized mentally and it is possible when we rectify our reasoning base from form to formless.

The Soul is the Self.  The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the witness consciousness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

The Self is not the ‘I’.  If the ‘I’ is merely an illusion, then it is no use of basing the Self as ‘I’,   the ‘I’ which appears and disappears has no permanence.

Deeper self-search reveals: ~ The Self is not the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The origin of the mind is Soul. The mind is present in the form of the universe. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.  The root of the universe is consciousness.  Thus saying ‘I Am God’ keeps one in the domain of the dualistic illusion.

The duality is not reality. Duality is the product of ignorance. The body, ego, and the world are ignorance. When Advaitic wisdom dawns the ignorance disappears. When ignorance disappears the duality will never be a reality even though there is duality, it is merely an illusion created out of single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  The Soul is the innermost Self. The innermost Self is God.  It is not “I AM GOD, but it’s correct to say ‘the SELF IS GOD.

Swami Vivekananda: ~ Stick to Truth.  Beware of everything untrue. Stick to the truth and we shall succeed, maybe, slowly, but surely.

Identifying the Self as ‘I’ is the cause of ignorance. The seeker has to realize the fact that the ‘I’ itself is an illusion. Simply by saying ‘I and not the body, I AM THIS or ‘I AM THAT or WHO AM ‘I’? - the wisdom will not dawn.  When the Self is not ‘I’ then what is the use of such inquiry?  A perfect understanding of ‘what is what' is very much necessary.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘WHO AM ‘I’?’ inquiry is good at the starting point of the pursuit of truth but in later stages, it created lots of confusion.  When the Self is genderless then it is not He/She. Therefore, using the word ‘I AM’ for the Self is erroneous.  Deeper Self-search reveals the fact that the Self is not the ‘I’, therefore ‘WHO AM I?- will not help to unfold the truth beyond the form, time, and space.
By inquiring WHO AM I?-   it unfolds the fallacy of the form,   therefore,   only half of the truth is revealed. The ignorant who fail to apprehend the ‘Self’ is caught in the web of illusion experience, the birth, life, death, and world as reality.  The people who think the ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ as the 'Self' are caught up in the web of duality and experience pain and pleasure as reality.

The one who holds the ‘I’ as the Self never will be able to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Thus, it is necessary to realize first the ‘I’ is not the Self, but the Soul the formless witness of the ‘I’ is the Self.
The ‘I-centric' teaching and teachers are not a yardstick in the path of wisdom. ‘I’ based teaching will not lead the seeker to the ultimate end of his inner journey

A deeper investigation reveals the fact that: ~ the Self is neither the waking entity (you) nor the dream entity but the Self is the Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states.

If the Self is not ‘you’ (waking entity) then what is the use of the ‘WHO AM ‘I’?, Self-inquiry is only good for the lower stage.

Sage Ramana Maharishi's teaching is most useful for beginners to start their pursuit of truth.  'WHO AM I?' - inquiry becomes inadequate and useless as one goes deeper into self-search.

However, it creates lots of doubts and confusion.  The seeker has to find the answers on his own through deeper reasoning, then all his doubts and confusions will be cleared, and he will be able to move ahead in the path of inquiry, and he will be able to reach his non-dual destination.

The first seeker has to find answers to following doubts and confusion which arise in a deeper investigation of Sage Ramana Maharishi's ~ Who Am I?-inquiry”

If the mind is the same as Atman, how can it vanish? How can Atman vanish? (Page 4 para. 3)

"Whenever any thought leads you outward" etc, says Sage Ramana Maharishi. What can you be certain of when you leave the external world? And why leave the world if you say everything is Brahman? (Page 6 ~center)

The "Mind ceases to struggle" Yes if I commit suicide I shall also cease to struggle! How can you say the world ceases to exist if you don't look at it? ~ (Page ~ 6)

Who has seen the subtle mind projecting through the brain and the senses? Can you see it? Is not the brain also a piece of gross matter? Then how can it come into existence after the world is created, if later, depends on the brain? (Page 6 last para)

How can you say the world vanishes when you are introspected? The world is still there; whether you see it or not. (Page 7 top)

Heart is an idea created by the mind, so how can the Mind emerge from it? (Page 7~ Line 4)

One should unquestioningly follow guru"--This is the very reverse of what Sri Ramakrishna taught. What if the guru happens to be a fool or a rascal? Sri Ramakrishna said "Test me! (Page 11, Para 2)

"In deep sleep, trance, swoon, mind turns inwards and enjoys atmasukam." Why should any man study or inquire or practice if in sleep he can easily get the Atman? If sleep gives Brahman why trouble with Vedanta? (Page 12: middle)

Page 16 middle: "If this truth is appreciated who can refrain from being good?" This is the opposite of real Vedanta. Vedanta says it is not enough to be good, you must serve the world and relieve suffering. ~ (Page 16 center)

Is the vanishing of ego to be the end of life? Aham, I must indeed go but tuham (thou) must come; you must know Brahman is everywhere. It is only half to say the ego must vanish. This is only a step, not the highest. (Page 16 last para).

Bhagavad Gita on this point says: ~   The Soul, the Self must see all in itself. (4/34)

Sage Raman Maharishi: ~ He placed his right hand on his right breast and continued, "Here lies the Heart, the dynamic, spiritual Heart. It is called Hridaya and is located on the right side of the chest and is clearly visible to the inner eye of an adept on the spiritual path. Through meditation, you can learn to find the Self in the cave of this Heart." ~ Mercedes de Acosta, Here Lies the Heart
***

Santthosh Kumaar: ~  The spiritual heart is the Soul, the Self, not the physical heart.   The world in which you exist is within the Soul, the spiritual heart. Mistaking the spiritual heart within the body is a great error. Even some Advaitic guru says that the Self is within the spiritual heart. And the spiritual heart is on the left side.  Such a declaration is merely an imagination, based on the false self (ego or you). When the Self is bodiless, then the question of the heart being left side or right side does not arise.

The seeker must realize the Soul, the Self, itself is the spiritual heart.  The Soul the spiritual heart is ever formless. The Soul itself is the spiritual heart that is present in the form of the spirit or consciousness.

Without the form, time, and space, the Soul, the Self, becomes naked. The nature of the Soul, the innermost Self is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Sri Ramana Maharishi also refers to: ~ Pure Consciousness, which is the heart, includes all; and nothing is outside or apart from it. That is the ultimate Truth.

I have the highest reverence for Sage Ramana Maharishi as a sage of absolute purity and unworldliness and desirelessness, but those who are seeking truth have to indulge in much deeper Self-search to realize the truth which is beyond the dual (waking or dream and nondual states).  Sage Ramana Maharishi indicated many other ways other than ‘WHO AM ‘I’?

The serious seekers who are searching for the ultimate truth or Brahman should not stop till they reach their Goal.

Jesus said: ~"Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all." (Gospel of Thomas 2)

Buddha: ~ Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.

Buddha said: ~ Believe nothing because a wise man said it, Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you yourself judge to be true

Dattatreya's Song of the Avadhut 1.36-42:~ Advaita taught by some; some others teach duality. They don't understand that the all-pervading Reality is beyond both duality and non-duality.
Mundaka Upanishad 1.3:~ Complete knowledge includes knowledge of the phenomenal world, the spirit behind it, and the source of both of them.  When the cause of all causes becomes known, then everything knowable becomes known, and nothing remains unknown is Gnana.”
Sage Sankara’s wisdom will remain a dead letter to the seekers who get stuck with orthodoxy and glorifying God and gurus.     All such acts and worship and rituals are not meant for the seekers of truth.
Sage Sankara: ~ 'Like a servant who carries a lamp in front of you to find your way, and you have found it, so becomes the Veda to that person. What is the Veda? -- utterances of those who have known the Truth. Here is one who has known the Truth; why should he or she depend upon the Veda further? Actual realization takes you beyond books. At a certain stage, books become a botheration. The Upanishad itself says that the 'words are only so much of distraction for such minds'
Sage Sankara: ~ Atman, the innermost Self is verily Brahman (God), being equanimous, quiescent, and by nature absolute Existence, Knowledge, and Bliss. Atman is not the body that is non-existence itself. This is called true Knowledge by the wise.

Rig Veda, 10:48, 5:~ The Soul is the cause; Soul is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Soul the innermost Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Soul nor worship other than the Soul?

The pursuit of truth is not for getting emotionally involved with some guru or yogi and indulging in glorifying the guru or yogi as God but investigating to find out whether there is any valuable material to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond the form, time and space.

Swami Vivekananda said: ~ You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, and none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but  the Soul.”

Thus, the seeker has to do his own homework to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space.  The seeker's aim is the search for the Ultimate Truth or Brahman, the search to find the non-dualistic truth that in actuality never was lost, only hidden. The ultimate truth has to be realized first, and then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying.

The ultimate truth or Brahman is the Soul, the Self.  The seeker should not search for truth outside of the form, time, and space.  Let these words be inscribed in your heart.

Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Nothing matters but an intense urge to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

The Soul or consciousness is everywhere and in everything.  Consciousness is beyond form, time, and space and is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. God in truth alone is and all else is an illusion. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Getting rid of the ignorance is the only way to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.+

Imparting the Advaitic wisdom to the unprepared mindset would be ‘equivalent to giving sermons to the stone statues.
Everyone is not ripe enough to understand and assimilate the Nondualistic or Advaitic truth. Some people want to exhibit their intellectual wealth, but it has no value in the pursuit of truth.
The seeker must have enough patience, humility, and an intense urge to know the truth. Arguments and provocation will not yield truth. Perfect understanding of ‘what is what ‘leads to the realization of Nondualistic or Advaitic truth.
As the seeker's understanding of ‘what is what ‘grows, gradually the seeker gets a glimpse of truth. Whatever is based on the waking entity is falsehood and whatever is based on the formless Soul, the innermost Self is real and eternal. Thus, the seeker of truth must make sure the waking entity (ego) is not the Self but the Self is formless Soul in order to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The seeker has to have an inner urge to know the truth seriousness, patience, and humility in order to reach the ultimate end of understanding. A man of truth will not indulge in an argument he keeps his distance with such a mindset

Withdrawal from the practical life within the practical world is not the way to get away from delusion. Ignorance is the cause of experiencing delusion as a reality. Getting rid of ignorance is the only way to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman, which is beyond form, time, and space.

Duality and nonduality are philosophic words, but in perfect perception one never perceives the real and the unreal at the same time.

Remember:~

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness is the witness consciousness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

The Soul or consciousness is the innermost Self. The Soul or consciousness is Self-illumined. So how can the body which is inert (insentient) and illumined by an external agent by the consciousness, which is present only within the waking or dream?

Consciousness (Soul) the innermost Self is apart from the three states and permanent, as it endures even after the death of the body and the world within the waking or dream.

Even the subtle body consists of many parts and is unstable. It is also an object of perception, and is changeable, limited, and non-existent by nature. So how can this be the true Self, when the body exists only within the duality (universe)?

When the Soul wakes up from ignorance and remains in its own awareness in the midst of duality, it is called Self-awareness.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness that pervades everywhere and in everything in the universe. The universe is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind.

What is ‘I’? How these three states are created? Who is its creator? Of what material is these three states are made? This is the way of that inquiry, analysis, and reasoning on the true base. The consciousness or Soul is neither the body, nor the matter, nor is the consciousness an aggregate of the senses; the consciousness is something different from these.

The ‘I’ is an illusory nature of the Soul or the consciousness. ‘I-LESSNESS is the true nature of the Soul the innermost self,

Thus, the mind which is in the form of the universe is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.   From the standpoint of the Soul, the  Self, and The mind is a myth.

Till you think the mind is within the body you will not be able to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space. Deeper self-search reveals the fact that. The mind is the universe in which you exist. When the mind (I) is there the universe in which you exist is there. If the mind disappears the universe in which you exist also disappears.

You and your senses and your experience of the world are made of the same stuff. That stuff is the Soul which is present in the form of the spirit. From the standpoint of the Soul or the Spirit, you and your senses and your experience of the world are nothing but the spirit. Thus, the spirit alone is real and you and your senses and your experience of the world are merely an illusion.

Remember:~

What is this “I”? The ‘I’ is the mind. The body and the world together are mind. If the mind is there, then only you and your experience of the world is there. If the mind is not there, then you and your mind cease to exist.

The mind is present in the form of the universe’ the universe appears as the waking or the dream (duality) and disappears as the deep sleep (nonduality).

Whatever the universe (mind or waking) contains is a myth.  Thus, the experience of birth, life and death, the pleasure and the pain which are happenings within the universe are a myth.   Thus, judging the truth on the base of the ego (you) is erroneous because the ego is the false self (ego) within the false experience (waking).

The gross universe is merged into the mental universe in the sense that when it is analyzed, it is found to exist inseparably in and as the mind alone. All "spiritual" planes are really mental: those who regard them as different or higher will remain ignorant.

A Gnani is free from experiencing the illusion (body + universe) as a reality, he is fully aware of the fact that his body and his experience of the world as an illusion are created out of consciousness. Thus everything in the universe is nothing but consciousness. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.  :~Santthosh Kumaar

The whole Advaitic wisdom can be summed up in one sentence ~ ‘There is nothing else but Brahman.+

People think Advaita is the best because the Vedas say so.  One can arrive at the same conclusion without any scripters by way of reasoning based on the Soul as the Self. The soul is present in the form of consciousness.

The habitual reasoning is based on the dualistic perspective to grasp, assimilate and realize the non-dualistic or Advaitic truth. The Advaitic truth is based on the nondualistic perspective.

The whole Advaitic wisdom can be summed up in one sentence, ‘There is nothing else but Brahman. It says that Absolute Existence, Absolute Knowledge, and Absolute awareness is Real. The universe is not real. It says that Brahman and Atman are one. The ultimate and the Absolute Truth is the Self, which is one though appearing as many in different individuals. The individual has no reality. Only the Self is real; the rest, mental and physical are but passing appearances.

In fact Sage Sankara states a paradox- the world is and is not. It is neither real nor unreal. It leads us to recognize the existence of Maya (illusion). He thinks that the world is illusory from one perspective and from the second it is nothing but Brahman, Itself in manifestation. This apparent world is Maya and has its basis in Brahman, the Eternal. looks real. It has names and forms and actually, it is not real In the light of true knowledge, it disappears and Self-alone shines as real. However, Sage Sankara’s Mayavada has not been accepted by many preachers and philosophers.

Sage Sankara says clearly, that the universe is not real. He says that Brahman and Atman are one. The ultimate and the Absolute Truth is the Self, which is one though appearing as many in different individuals. The individual has no reality. Only the Self is Real; the rest, mental and physical are but passing appearances.

So then it indicates the form (waking or duality or mind) is unreal and the formless Soul (soul or consciousness) is real.  Therefore, only Atman is real, because there is no second thing that exists other than Atman, which is in the form of consciousness.

The ultimate truth or Brahman has nothing to do with the Scriptures and it is independent of the scriptures.  The point is: that though it is taught by the Vedas, it does not require any belief in the infallibility of Vedas; in other words even if an individual or some other religion were to propose the same thing, a person with an open mind would come to the same conclusion that there is a fourth state, that it is Brahman - and that it is the same as the Self.

The subject (formless witness) remains unchanged. The subject (formless witness), as such remains immortal. It can never die for it never changes. The body and world are an object and go, but the subject or knower of the body and the universe can never go. The seeker has to take this principle as his guiding thread and non-dual truth becomes easy to grasp. The formless witness can never be subject to the changes of the object; it is unchanged. The mistake usually made is that the subject becomes the object, or that the object is the subject.:~Santthosh Kumaar

The belief of God is not God in truth.+

Religion preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which is apart from the Self.

Many believe spirituality and religion are considered interconnected but it is not so. Religion is based on the false self (ego or you) and it is limited to the false experience (universe), while spirituality transcends race, religion, gender, language and nationality, and the universe.

Spirituality is based on the Soul of the Self. From the standpoint of the Soul the Self, the universe in which we exist is merely an illusion.

The creator and creation is a theory based on the false self within the false experience.   There is neither creation is the realm of ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth, because there is no scope for the duality of any sort.

The ultimate conclusion is this there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. Everything is consciousness thus diversity has no value in light of wisdom.  Thus, recognizing the mind or the illusion or universe or duality or three states as consciousness in the midst of diversity brings unity in diversity.

Remember:~

The belief of God is not God in truth. Holding belief as God is holding an illusion as reality because the belief is possible only within the realm of duality. Duality is merely an illusion from the ultimate standpoint.  Without the blind belief-based Gods, the belief system holds no water.  Belief is not God.

Belief needs a believer.  The believer needs to be born in this world. If the believer is born then he is part of the illusion.   Without the believer, there is no belief.  The believer and his world and his blind belief-based Gods are part of the illusion because the self is birth-less because the Self is unborn and ever nondual.

The one, which is born, lives, and dies, is not the Self.  The Self is a formless substance and witness of the falsehood (universe or waking or illusion), which is the Soul or consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

God cannot exist without man’s existence. Without man, Gods based on blind belief are non-existent. When a man is not the Self then why bring God in? If God really were in every particle of everyone, as mystics claim, then everyone will be able to create the universe, because everyone will be God.

It is impossible to prove the existence of a religious God by any reasoning: one can only assume God's existence.   Yoga and mysticism are primitive things that appealed in the past to early races; now they indicate an undeveloped mind when they are taken for truth because they are based on the false self within the false experience. When the Self is a formless soul, then all the form (ego) based theories and practices hold no water.

Whenever one talks of God, he refers to his inherited blind belief. Hence, any idea of God, one forms is entirely based on his belief. The belief of God is not God.  The Soul, the Self is God in truth.   And God in truth has no reality apart from the Soul, the Self. Hence, religious believers are unable to give proof of their God and are merely hallucinating based on their inherited beliefs.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

God in truth is the Atman, the Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not accept any other God other than Atman not worship other than Atman.

Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

Nothing is real but God. Nothing Matters but love for God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is and all else is an illusion.

The truth is hidden within the universe. Thus,  one must know the whole universe is created out of the soul, which is present in the form of the Spirit. And the Spirit is God.

The Upanishads say in effect that: ~ If you believe that the Self is one and God is another you cannot understand Truth.

No conceptual God can exist, apart from consciousness. People are not aware of the fact that there is no individual God that can exist, apart from the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, the Soul, the Self.   If there is no consciousness, then there is no physical body, no ego, no universe, no religion, and no conceptual God.

Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God, there is no truth."

People think that there must be a creator of this universe. If one thinks physical entity or ego as self, then there is a creator, but if one thinks of the Soul as the Self, then there is nothing that exists other than the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

If one objectifies and sees a universe, then he is bound to see many things besides himself and postulate a God, the creator. The Body, the idea of the God and world rises and set together from, and into, the Soul,  the Self. If God is apart from the ‘Self ‘, then He would be Selfless, that is, outside existence, that is, non-existent.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the destroyer of ignorance.+

Sage Sankara says ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.
Sage Sankara says: ~ VC 56. Neither by Yoga, nor by Sankhya, nor by good work, nor by learning, but by the realization of one's identity with Brahman is Liberation possible, and by no other means.
As we keep digging deeper and deeper, the truth will shines as pure awareness in the midst of the duality (waking).

The Soul, the ‘Self’ is your ultimate teacher. It is only your inner teacher that will walk with you to the goal, for the Soul is the goal.

Millions are searching for truth but one in million will realize it. You are one from that million because you have the intense urge to realize the ultimate truth.

When the seeker is ready, the guidance comes on its own.  An earnest desire to grow and a sense of deep commitment are the hallmarks of one who aspires to be a seeker.

When at the core of one’s being a person comes to realize he/she needs to seek a path for coming out of one’s unconscious and conditioned life, mysteriously the guidance appears to guide and shows the way.

Remember:~

Read repeatedly my postings and blogs and reflect and reason deeply which helps you to create a mental yardstick in your subconscious to discriminate between ‘what is the truth? And what is the untruth? When the subconscious is receptive and ready then it will start rejecting the untruth and finally then the Soul, the 'Self’ alone will prevail as the ultimate truth or Brahman or God.
There is no practice as such, but perfect understanding is needed to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atman Gnana.
A deeper Self-search reveals the fact that the Self is not physical, but the Self is a formless Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Therefore, all the accumulated knowledge, experiences, and understanding based on the ego are falsehood because the ego is the false self, within the false experience (waking).
The ‘Self’ is not you. You are the ego. The ego is the waking entity. Thus, whatever is based on the waking entity is bound to be a falsehood because the waking experience itself is a falsehood. All the Gurus and their teachings limit the ‘Self’ as individuality. Thus, they yield only half-truths.
There is a need to realize the three states, which come and go, are merely an illusion. All three states are made of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Remember:~

The seeker should share the Advaitic wisdom with the fellow seekers, which will help to bring them nearer to their spiritual Goal.
No gift is greater than sharing wisdom with fellow seekers and there is no task more important than the task of helping the fellow seekers to acquire Advaitic wisdom.

A Gnani helps the seeker to get rid of the ignorance by imparting the Advaitic wisdom, which consumes ignorance.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the destroyer of ignorance.  The Soul or consciousness is the Self is the guru and the God, the all-pervading principle and the cause of all three states and it itself is uncaused.

One is ignorant and he asserts the awareness, ever-existent consciousness, which exists in all the three states as its formless substance and witness.   And it is also apart from the three states.  The witness is formless and it is not an entity and identity within the waking or dream.

The body, the ego, and the world are made of single stuff.  That single stuff is consciousness.  There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.  In reality, there is no physical body, no world, because there is no duality because there is only unity in diversity.

Remember:~

It is erroneous to say that only by transcending the ego; one is able to experience formless, timeless, and space-less unmanifested dimensions. It is wrong to say that the universe erupted from the big void, from nothingness. All these are mere imaginations based on the false Self.    You are not the Self.  You are the ego. The ego is the false self within the false experience (waking).

It is not you, who is forgetting the Soul, the innermost Self.  It is the Soul that forgets itself within the dualistic illusion.   The ignorance is the cause of the dualistic illusion or Maya.  You and your world are within the dualistic illusion. Thus, you and your individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is nothing to do with the Soul, the Self. When the ignorance vanishes, then the Soul, the Self, remains in its own awareness.

Our body and the world in which we exist are made out of single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, the whole universe in which we exist is nothing but consciousness.  Thus, consciousness alone is real and the universe in which we exist is merely an illusion. Thus, all the contents of the universe are merely an illusion.

You are bound by birth, life and death, and the world. You are born within the world, which is an illusion. You are living within the illusory world, and you are going to die within the illusory world. Whatever is born, lives, and dies within the illusory world is not the Self.

Only in illusion, there is form, time, and space. The form, time, and space within the illusory world are nothing to do with the Soul, the  Self.

The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.  From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, there is no scope form, time and space. In the real nature of the Soul, there is no duality.

All the years you have passed are within an illusion. Billions of past and future years belong to the illusion.  The things that happened billions of years ago and the things that are to happen billions of years from now are happenings within the illusion. The illusion is an illusion is nothing to do with the Soul, the  Self.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman.  The practical life within the practical world is nothing to do with the Soul, the Self.

The Soul is the formless substance and the witness of the illusion.  In the realm of the truth, the substance and the witness of the illusion are one in essence. That essence is the Soul or consciousness.  Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God,

Remember:~
Till one has the conviction that he is an individual, separate from the world, and the world existed prior to him, and he is born with it, he will remain in ignorance of the reality of the true existence.
Till this conviction is there it is impossible to grasp the Advaitic truth, because his views and judgments are based on the physical Self (ego) with the physical world (waking).
Individuality is a reality within the waking experience, but the waking experience itself is a falsehood.
Thus, holding the view as an individual within the false experience is leading to a hallucination.  The waking experience is a parallel dream, and the dream is a parallel waking experience.

The Soul, the Self is omniscient. What we all will think tomorrow is within the illusory world.  Whatever you were, how you felt, how you thought, how you worked, and what work you are now doing is within the illusory world.

The Soul, the Self is,    nothing to do with you and your world.  So, the best thing for you is to realize the fact that you are not the Self.  :~Santthosh Kumaar
