Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana is mother of all knowledge thus it is not accumulated knowledge.+

There is no need to follow anyone. The one who calls himself as Guru and the one who calls himself as a Guru’s disciple will never be able to cross the threshold of duality.

Guru, Swami, Yogi, Sadhu, and Avatara belong to religious paths. Guru, Swami, Yogi, Sadhu, and Avatara have nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman because they are based on the false self (ego or waking entity) and false experience (waking).

The path of wisdom is only for those who are seriously in search of ultimate truth or Brahman. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana is the mother of all knowledge thus it is not accumulated knowledge.

To acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana there is no guru is required. The Seeker has to grow from the inside out. None can teach him none can make him spiritual. There is no other teacher but the  Soul, the Self.

The Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of Consciousness. Consciousness is the witness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

Where is the guru, where is the teaching, where is the disciple, where is the world when Self is not the ‘I’.  If the self is not ‘I’ what is self without the ‘I’.

Awareness is the nature of the soul, the innermost self.  The soul is present in the form of consciousness. The soul is in ignorance of its true nature in physical awareness. Physical awareness is present in the form of a universe or waking experience. The Soul is in its own awareness in deep sleep.

We talk about the deep sleep experience in the state of ignorance (waking). The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. Wisdom dawns when the waking entity realizes it itself is not the self in the midst of duality (waking).

The real Moksha or freedom is to realize the fact that ‘I’ consciousness is mere physical awareness. Physical awareness is not Self-awareness.  Self–awareness is when the  Soul or consciousness remains aware of its own awareness.

Dualist sages could not distinguish between ‘I’ and ‘formless witness.’ The 'I' was the witness. Their highest was the Jiva. One is so much attached to the 'I' that he does not want to think that 'I' does not exist. Again one is unable to detach the ‘I’ from the Real witness.

Most of the modern Gurus are also stuck with ‘I’ awareness as self-awareness. The ‘I’ awareness is present only when the mind is present.

Mind is present only when the universe is present. The universe is present only when the waking or dream is present.

The ‘I’ awareness is absent when the mind is absent. Mind is absent then the universe or waking or dream is absent. Thus ‘I’ awareness is merely an illusion. Self-awareness is ‘I- LESS AWARENESS.

Without Sage Sankara and Sage Gaudapada, there is no Advaita (non-duality).  Since it was mixed up with orthodoxy there is a lot of confusion.

Sage Sankara’s quotes (selected verified) are quoted in my blogs and posts to show what Sage  Sankara meant and what is blocking the seekers from realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

There are so many non-dualistic masters of the east and also from the west who expound Advaitic or non-dualistic knowledge but none of them are helpful to reach the ultimate end. :~Santthosh Kumaar
