Unless one exercise his Buddhi--reason--there is no chance of getting the ultimate truth or Brahman.+

There is no need to condemn any Gurus or their teaching but for those who are seeking truth nothing but the truth, this Gurudom becomes a great hindrance to the truth they are seeking for. The seeker has to independently strive to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory 'I'.
Swami Vivekananda: ~ “The wicked are always looking for defects. Flies come and seek for the ulcer, and bees come only for the honey in the flower. Do not follow the way of the fly but that of the bee.
The Advaitic wisdom is not suited for the unsettled mind, which is stuck to religion, yoga, and all non-~Vedic worship and activities. There is no use in convincing such a mindset.

Everyone is free to move on his chosen path. The ignorant (unsettled mind) will not be able to grasp the esoteric truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. there is no use to convince the unsettled mind because they are unfit to tread the Atmic path.
Bhagavan Buddha: ~ “There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.
That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true.
The goal of the truth seeker is to acquire Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is inherent in every seeker of truth. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana does not come from outside, it is hidden within the world in which we exist.
Self-knowledge cannot be attained by the study of the scriptures and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge. Therefore, there is no use in studying the scriptures and other scriptures in order to acquire non-dual wisdom. That is why Bhagavan Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sage Sankara indicated that the ultimate truth lies beyond religion, the concept of God, and the scriptures.
Bhagavan Buddha gave up yoga after practicing it for six years. He saw it could not yield truth.
Bhagavan Buddha gave up his austerities of yoga as impossible and useless. Thus, Buddha got enlightenment only after he gave up Yoga. (Page.70/71 "Buddhism In Translation” by Warren)
Unless one exercise his Buddhi--reason--there is no chance of getting the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Bhagavan Buddha: ~ “We live in illusion and the appearance of things. There is a reality. We are that reality. When you understand this, you see that you are nothing, and being nothing, you are everything. That is all.
The Soul is the universe because the universe is an illusion created out of the Soul, the innermost ’Self’. The physical Guru and the disciple are part of that illusion.

The Soul is within the dualistic but it is apart from the dualistic illusion. The Soul is within the dualistic illusion neither an entity nor as an identity nor as a thing but it is the formless substance of the dualistic illusion and it is apart because it is the formless witness of the dualistic illusion.
The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the ‘I’, perfect understanding of ‘what is what', is needed not Guru or Guru teaching.
Advaita is not any type of teaching or philosophy. Advaita is the knowledge of your true existence. Advaita is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the ultimate reality, Brahman, or God in truth.
That is why Sage Sankara said:~Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.
The ‘Self’ is not you but ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
If you are stuck to any physical Guru or if you identify yourself with any Guru’s disciple then your spiritual journey is incomplete.
Sticking to physical Guru is sticking to ignorance. If you hold yourself as a follower or disciple of a Guru then you are stuck by accepting the dualistic illusion as a reality.
The seeker's main aim is to transcend dualistic illusion into Advaitic reality. The dualistic illusion is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is Soul, which is the Spirit or the consciousness. The knowledge of the Soul is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Thus, by, sticking to the Guru you will not be able to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Come out of the old outdated idea of having a Guru.
By identifying as a Guru or some Guru’s disciple keeps one in the cage of ignorance. A person who identifies himself as a Guru or disciple will never be able to get Advaitic Gnana.
The Guru and disciple and the world in which Guru and disciple exist are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth of Brahman.
Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.
A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
The truth seeker seeks only truth. The inner Sage will guide you with love. Your sincerity and seriousness lead you to your inner core. The sincere and serious seekers are not excluded.
Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)
~ Then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani and whose teaching is not Advaitic Gnana.
That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, and none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”
Swami Vivekananda: ~Jñāna Yoga is divided into three parts. First: hearing the truth--that the Atman is the only reality and that everything else is Maya. Second: reasoning upon this philosophy from all points of view. Third: giving up all further argumentation and realizing the truth. This realization comes from being certain that Brahman is real and everything else is unreal.
Yogis and Gurus are not Gods.
This idea of worshiping Guru as God is not a Vedic idea but adopted from Jainism and Buddhism.
Vedas bar human worship: ~
Yajur Veda:~ "They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.":~ (Yajur Veda 40:9.)
Then why to worship and glorify the Gurus and Yogis (human form) in place of God when Veda bars such activities and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Reading and reflecting on my blogs and postings repeatedly itself is a mental exercise to sow the seed of the Advaita in your subconscious.+

Reading and reflecting on my blogs and postings repeatedly itself is a mental exercise to sow the seed of the Advaita in your subconscious.
Your urge is at the seed level. As you go on reading the words of wisdom it will start growing. It takes time for the egocentric subconscious to accept the Soulcentric truth.
The truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance.
There is no need to search for the truth because the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth.
Only when the conviction of the Soul becomes firm then only you will be able to accept the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness.
You have to only realize the world in which you exist is created out of single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. They cease to exist without consciousness. You have to think and reason deeply
A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.
Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what,’ leads to a perfect conviction of ‘What is the truth?” and ‘What is the untruth?. Perfect conviction of the truth leads to Advaitic self-awareness.
I can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness. You have to think and reason deeply
Everyone’s inner work is on. Until a man is ripe to receive Self-knowledge, he will not be able to understand what I am saying.
It is your intense urge that will take you to the ultimate goal. Patience and humility will help you to reach what you are seeking.
It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until he gets a firm conviction of what is what. Words are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’.
People need to read and hear the words, think reason and reflect deeply, and reach the ultimate end.
Start your journey even though you may find it difficult at first as you go on reading the post your subconscious will start dropping the dualistic egocentric knowledge and start accepting the Soul-centric Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.:~Santthosh Kumaar

If the ‘I’ is an illusion, then it is no use of inquiring ‘Who Am I? +

Make sure the Self is not ‘I’. If the  Self is not  ‘I’  then whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced as an individual is bound to be a falsehood.

If the Self is not ‘I’ then there is no other ‘I’ because the ‘I’ exist only in the domain of duality. The Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The nature of the Soul is ‘I’-less. The ‘I’ is an illusory nature of the Soul, the Self’. The ‘I’ appears and disappears.

Thus holding the  Self as ‘I’ and trying to assimilate Advaitic truth is trying to drain the ocean drop by drop.

What is this “I”? The ‘I’ is the mind. The body and the world together are the mind. If the mind is present then only you and your experience of the world are present. If the mind is not present, then you and your world cease to exist.

The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream(duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality).

If the ‘I’ is an illusion,  then it is no use of inquiring ‘Who Am I?. Till one holds the Self as  ‘I’  the Soul, the Self is caught up in the prison of duality.

Sage Sankara:~  VC-63- "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

A deeper self-search reveals the fact that by inquiring - Who Am I?  wisdom will not dawn. Who Am I?  inquiry is only for beginners and it is inadequate and useless in the later stages.

That is why Sage Sankara: ~  VC-61- For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

VC-  v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity with the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together.

That is why in Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient I comes and goes. (2.18)

Until one gets convinced that the Self is not  ‘I’,  he will remain in ignorance of the formless  Soul, the Self.

If Self is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence, then the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is bound to be an illusion because the 'I' exists only in the domain of the form, time, and space.

It is necessary to know and realize the fact that the Self is not the form, but it is formless before indulging in the inner (mental) journey.

Remember: ~

Without realizing ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness Self-realization is an impossibility. The world in which you exist hides the ‘Self’,

All the Gurus in the past misguided the seeking world by propagation the Self within the physical body.

Remember, the ‘Self is not within the body but the ‘Self’ is hidden by the world in which you exist.

The ego, thoughts, and the world in which we exist are created out of single clay.  That single clay is the consciousness.   Knowledge of the single clay is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gina or Atma Gnana.

The world in which we exist is the product of ignorance. When ignorance vanishes then the unreal nature of the world in which we exist is exposed.

When the unreal nature of the world in which we exist is exposed than the ego, thoughts, and whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced within the unreal world is bound to be an illusion.

It is necessary to realize the one which is born, lives, and dies, is not the ‘Self’ because the ‘Self is the birthless and deathless. The ‘Self’ is birthless and deathless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Only when you realize the Self is not you but the Self is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus everything is consciousness, which is real and eternal.  Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.  The world in which you exist is nothing to do with the Soul, the ‘Self’  because the world in which you exist is merely an illusion. :~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara: ~ Atman, the Self is verily Brahman (God in truth) +

Sage Sankara: ~ Atman, the Self is verily Brahman (God in truth), being anonymous, quiescent, and by nature absolute Existence, Knowledge, and Bliss. Atman is not the body that is non-existence itself. This is called true Knowledge by the wise.

The formless Soul, the Self is ever free from all taint. The mind exists as an illusion or Maya within the Soul, the Self. Thus, the Soul or consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The ultimate truth or Brahman is God in truth.

Rig Veda:~ Prajnanam Brahma: - Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

When Vedas itself says consciousness itself is Brahman or God in truth then all other Gods you believe and worship are not Gods in truth.
Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
When one realizes that form, time and space are one in essence. And that essence is  consciousness, then he realizes there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.
Thus, everything is consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth. And the ultimate truth is God in truth.
Consciousness is God in truth and God pervades everything and everywhere in all three states. Thus, the mystic claim that ‘I AM GOD’ is incorrect because God is not an individual because God pervades in everything and everywhere in all three states. Thus, there is no God, but God.

One has realized the individual Gods propagated by the belief systems are mere imaginary Gods based on the false self within the false experience.

In Manduka Upanishad: Brahman and Atman are defined as the same: ~

Manduka Upanishad, verse-2:~ All indeed is, this Brahman; This Atman is Brahman; He, this Atman has four steps/quarters.

While Brahman lies behind the sum total of the objective universe, some human minds boggle at any attempt to explain it with only the tools provided by reason. Brahman is beyond the senses, beyond the mind, beyond intelligence, beyond imagination. Indeed, the highest idea is that Brahman is beyond both existence and non-existence, transcending and including time, causation, and space, and thus can never be known in the same material sense as one traditionally 'understands' a given concept or object.

Imagine a person who is blind from birth and has not seen anything. Is it possible for us to explain to him the meaning of the color red? Is any amount of thinking or reasoning on his part ever going to make him understand the sensation of the color red? In a similar fashion, the idea of Brahman cannot be explained or understood through material reasoning or any form of human communication. Brahman is like the color red; those who can sense it cannot explain or argue with those who have never sensed it.

Realize God in truth.

Religious Gods are based on belief. Belief is not God. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul the  ‘Self’ is the center of all that exists. Without the Soul the world in which you exist ceases to exist, which means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence. God in truth is only the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

There is no God but God. There is no God because the world in which we exist is merely an illusion created out of God, the Spirit. Call it with any name God is universal. God belongs to the whole of humanity.

Religion creates separation God is unity in diversity. God is one which the cause of the whole world in which humans exist. There is no God but God means the world in which we exist is an illusion

God  is the cause of the world is real and eternal. God alone is real and all else is an illusion. There is no second thing that exists other than the Spirit, God thus, God is Advaita.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~  God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.

God with form, name, and attributes does not find any support from the Vedas.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad says:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

The Soul, the God is impersonal. The only way to approach God is by acquiring Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.
Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God in truth) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the witnessing subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described because the description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constituted the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

Constant remembrance of the nature of God leads to Self-awareness, which itself is God-awareness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ultimate truth or Brahman (God) dwells within the three states like fragrance in the flower.+

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Don't unsettle the minds of the ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth."

Meher Baba: ~ "There is no higher or lower goal. There is only one goal, Self-Realization."

Sage Sankara says:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works,  nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) VivekaChudamani v 56, pg 25

The ultimate truth or Brahman (God) dwells within the three states like fragrance in the flower; Musk lies within the Musk-deer yet seeks it  seeks it afar."

Until one trace the truth within the three states the illusion of birth, life, death, and the world is experienced as reality.

Some Gurus declare that   “Just by sitting quiet and knowing the Self is without the words, nothing else has to be done, and shortly one arrives at his natural state”.Such a declaration does not lead one to Advaitic Self-awareness. Such acts will not destroy, ignorance.

Without getting rid of ignorance, wisdom will not dawn. Only Advaitic wisdom leads to Self-awareness,  in the midst of the duality. Only perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what leads to Advaitic Self-awareness.

But how does one have that realization? That is where Advaita and Advaita Vedanta diverge.

Sage Sankara says in the commentary in Vedanta Sutra that what is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.

Remember:~

Seekers of truth should not believe blindly in traditional orthodox Advaita without verifying all the facts from every angle. The orthodoxy has nothing to do with spirituality, which is based on the soul or spirit.  One has to reflect through reasoning over and over again without getting tired of the process.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ It is not the absence of Buddhi that can grasp Advaita, but the man who possesses the highest intellect. Brains are necessary. Such a man, by merely hearing the truth mentioned will know it. (Page~ 224).

Sage Sankara goes on to say: ~A sickness of not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine. Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman.” Brahman must be experienced. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from  consciousness until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely noise. Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying “I am a king.”

A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines but never by subtle arguments.

Ignorance will not vanish without Advaitic wisdom. It is not you who has to get rid of ignorance because you and you and your experience of the world are the product of ignorance.
The Soul, the Self is in ignorance of its own true nature. Only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the Soul, the Self, awake from the sleep of ignorance.
When the Soul, the Self remains in its own awareness of its own true nature, there is no division in the soul or consciousness, there is unity in diversity.
The Gurus, who say to get rid of ignorance, first must realize the fact that it is not the man who is in ignorance, but it is the Soul, which is in ignorance. Thus, it is necessary to realize ‘what is what’ to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space.
The gurus who think the Self is within the body are propagating half-baked knowledge. Their views and judgment of Advaita or nonduality are based on the dualistic perspective.
Only those who can view and judge the three states from the non-dualistic perspective are perfected knowledge.
All accumulated Advaitic knowledge accumulated from different gurus will not yield truth because they are not the verified truth.  The seeker has to do his homework to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Thoughts, thinker and the world are nothing to do with the Soul, the Self.+

Sage Ramana Maharishi: ~ Don’t believe your thoughts. ‘I am the body is a thought. ‘I am the mind’ is a thought. ‘I am the doer’ is a thought. Worry is only a thought. Fear is only a thought. Death is only a thought.

But remember:~

Santthosh Kumaar:~ The thought is not the cause. Without the experience of form, time, and space the thought will not rise. Thus, the experience is prior to thought. The form, time, and space are present in the form of the “I’.  The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep).   Ignorance is the cause of experiencing illusory duality as a reality.

Thoughtlessness is not wisdom. The thinker & thought and the world, are part of the illusion. The thoughts will not arise without form, time, and space. Form, time, and space will not arise without the mind.

The minds cease to exist without the Soul, which is in the form of Spirit. Therefore, there is a need to know the “Self” is not limited to the physical entity (you), but it pervades everything and everywhere in all three states.

The thoughts,  the thinker, and the world are nothing to do with the Soul, the Self. The Thoughts come to the thinker within the world. The world is present in the form of form, time, and space. Without form, time, and space the thoughts, thinker, and the world cease to exist.

The thoughts, thinker, and the world are created out of single stuff.  That single stuff is the soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana leads to Advaitic Self-awareness in the midst of the dualistic illusion (waking).:~Santthosh Kumaar

Advaitic Gnana removes ignorance.+

Advaitic Gnana removes ignorance.  It all depends on the seeker's sincerity, patience, and seriousness to realize the Advaitic truth is hidden by ignorance.

Bhagavan Buddha: - There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the path of wisdom. Without realizing “What is  the  truth, it is impossible to realize “What is untruth?” Without realizing what is the truth? and what is untruth? it is impossible to assimilate the Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  The seeker must know with full and firm conviction what truth is.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing because a wise man said it, Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you, yourself judge to be true”.

Advaitic Wisdom consists in knowing the truth, that everything (mind or physical existence) is consciousness.  Freedom (ultimate truth) is always there yet one does not know it.  But to those whose reason is turned away from physicality and who have attained the serenity of the Soul the  Self, is quite near to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Sage Sankara says:~ V C:~65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it, and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya (universe) and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

A Gnani watches the seeker's steps until he or she is mature enough to be on their own. A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and all religious identity and live like a commoner. He never identifies himself as Gnani nor does he identify himself as superior to others. He only shares his knowledge with fellow seekers.

A Gnani never identifies himself as a Guru or a Yogi or someone disciple.  The one who accepts himself as a Guru or someone’s disciple is not a Gnani.

Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.

A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
Katha Upanishads: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals its own form. (II -23-P-20)
All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality.  You are the chosen one.
Millions are searching for truth, but one in million will realize it.  If you are the truth seeker then you are one from that million.:~Santthsoh Kumaar
