Advaitic truth is uncontradictable truth and rational truth and scientific truth, and ultimate truth.+

Many people quote Advaita without understanding it really in its highest aspect. They declare themselves as Gnanis, but their knowledge is really mysticism.
Sage  Sankara says: ~ What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.
Seekers of truth should not believe blindly in traditional orthodox nonduality without verifying all the facts from every angle. One has to reflect through reasoning, over and over again without getting tired of the process.
There is no hope for those who call themselves realists because they are unwilling to make inquiry into what is real. The true seeker of truth analyses and inquires, not relying on first impressions, and hence he is fit for the path of Advaitic wisdom.
They have to know that what they are saying is true. There are so many conflicting teachings by many gurus, one gets confused as to which are true.
They will be unable to prove because they do not know the proper test of truth they preach what is written is books with their own interpretation without verifying them.

Why does one start by assuming that anything he knows is true? Many things he regards many things unconsciously as true because he enjoys them or is pleased or satisfied with them. But without verification, nothing has to be accepted as truth.
Advaitic truth is uncontradictable truth and rational truth and scientific truth, and ultimate truth.
To realize the Advaitic truth is the seeker's aim, which is quite different from the opinions of dualistic egocentric schools. Advaitic truth is Soulcentric truth and uncontradictable truth.
All the various views are mere opinions and have nothing to do with the ascertainment of the ultimate truth, which is beyond the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.
In the Advaitic path, the seeker of truth has to analyze the whole world; think consistently about it. He has to exercise his thinking faculty and inquire continually; discrimination is essential; this practice is the only way to grasp the Advaitic truth.
Gnana is that knowledge, knowing which everything else becomes known. Truth can be known by its being impossible of any contradiction and depending entirely on what is not the self.
The seeker of truth has to go to the very root of things. He rejects everything which is untrue by Soulcentric reasoning.
Katha Upanishad (1.2.5) says; -"Caught in the grip of ignorance, self-proclaimed experts consider themselves learned authorities. They wander about this world befooled, like the blind leading the blind.

Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ helps you to unfold the mystery of your true existence.

Remember:~

The seeker has to make his discoveries through the process of rational thinking and reasoning.

That is why Sage Sankara says:~VC-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it, and (finally) grasping, but never come out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

It means searching for the truth independently on your own therefore there is no need for any teacher or teaching. The truth has to be ascertained by the seeker himself.

Until the seeker realizes the truth, how can he know what is untruth?  How can one know the teacher knows the truth or teaching speaking of the truth?

The seeker should not accept anything as truth without deeper introspection. Only uncontradictable truth has to be accepted as the ultimate truth of Brahman. The path of truth is the path of verification. Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification.

The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known. A guru is needed in the religious and yogic path.  There is no need for a guru to acquire Self-knowledge.

That is why Sage Sankara himself says:~ VC- 59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures consisting of many words are a dense forest that merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence, men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.

61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

62. A disease does not leave off if one simply utters the name of the medicine, without taking it; (similarly) without direct realization one cannot be liberated by the mere utterance of the word Brahman.

63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is achievable without the grace of any physical guru or the conceptual God or the mercy of some Godmen. The seeker has to wake up to reality, which is the formless substance and witness of the unreality (universe).

At the end of the quest, the seeker becomes aware of the fact that the true self is the soul or consciousness.  There is nothing that exists other than consciousness. Thus,  the soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

The Soul, the Self is being identified by another name "Nothingness", because truly if there was Nothingness in the end, there must be one "final witness" to that Nothingness.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Yogic Chakras in Raja yoga are based on imagination and fiction.+

Yoga ~ does not qualify you to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. People try to see God through yogic samadhi meditation. And this process of yogic samadhi meditation does not help the seeker to get rid of ignorance. Ignorance hides God in truth.
Brih Upanishad:~ page 32-"Yoga does not yield truth or liberation."

Manduka Upanishad:~ Yoga is in the sphere of duality and is unnecessary to one who knows non-duality.

Sage Sankara pointed out that yoga could in no way bring about wisdom, much less Moksha.

Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India (Advaita wisdom) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today as they did then. It is not yoga but the philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into the truth and have no time for it. (Gita –Chap- IV-v.2)

In Gita Chap.IV where Lord Krishna says:~ "This yoga has been lost for ages" the word yoga refers to Gnana yoga, not other yogas: the force of the word this is to point this out.

Lord Krishna describes some of the other yogas but devotes this chapter separately to Gnana Yoga. So one sees even in those ancient days people did not care for Advaita; they wanted religion; hence, Gnana got lost. That is why Krishna calls it "the supreme secret." Krishna points out that yoga must see "Brahman in action."

Gita Chap.IV:~ "He who achieves perfection in Yoga finds the Self in time." This means that after his yoga is finished, he begins the inquiry into ultimate truth, and in due course, this inquiry produces the realization of the universal spirit as the result.

Lord Krishna Says Ch. V:~  Those who know me in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

Sage Sankara says: - Yoga is not the means of liberation (page 132-133 - Commentary on Brihadaranyakopanishad.

Yoga can yield only the duality because everything that one can do or practice becomes a vanishing 'known.' It yields relative truth based on imagination, which is true from the physical viewpoint of view, not the non-dual truth, which is the ultimate reality.

In Sutra Bashya and Mandukya:~  The Samadhi and sleep are identical.

Brihad Upanishad does not advocate Samadhi.

A Gnani imparts Knowledge to others. A Yogi lies in Samadhi like a wooden log so he does not know yogic Samadhi is not wisdom.  Gnani is fully aware of about all things, either permanent or perishable and he has realized both permanent and perishable to be consciousness.  Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal all else is merely an illusion.

The one,  who realizes Brahman becomes a Gnani.  A Gnani would be there to show the way to freedom from experiencing the duality as reality. A Gnani does not identify himself as a Guru or swami or yogi or sadhu.

Bhagavan Buddha: ~ There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

Meher Baba: ~ When reality appears this ignorance which one thinks as reality becomes unreal.

Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.~ (1) VivekaChudamani v 56, pg 25

Yogic  Chakras in Raja yoga are based on imagination and fiction. It was noted that there were nervous plexuses and nodules at intervals in the spine and other parts of the body.

Upon this basis, the yogis started imagining that if the mind concentrated on each one a different mystic result would be obtained. But that is mere fancy. When The Self is formless the question of chakras does not arise.

It is foolish to practice yoga after one becomes aware of the fact that the Self is not the body but the Self is consciousness. The body-based yogic or mystical theories are not the means for self-realization.

Without having a firm Inner conviction that the self is not the form but the Self is formless Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness,  it is difficult to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  It is useless to argue from the standpoint of the form as the Self because the Self is not the form but the Self is the Soul or consciousness.

Remember:~

Man and his experience of the universe are the product of ignorance.  Therefore, everyone is ignorant of their true existence. Everyone knows about their birth, life, death, and the universe, but they are unaware of the fact that their experience of birth, life, death, and the universe is merely an illusion from the ultimate standpoint.

The illusion disappears in deep sleep, death or one gets the awareness of the true self through nondualistic or Advaitic wisdom.  If ignorance were permanent nothing could be known. The pursuit of truth is the removal of ignorance by self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

All interpretation based on the “ego or the waking entity” leads to a  hallucination.  Scriptural tenets may be accepted as authoritative only after one has shown the reality and proved the truth, for then he can point out that the texts teach the same thing. If one quotes them before having demonstrated the truth, then it is scholasticism or punditry.

There have been so many conflicting belief systems, and so many changes, divisions, and subdivisions of religion, therefore religious truth is individual, not universal.

Only when one meets with suffering and disappointments, then doubts arise about his inherited belief system. Doubts are absolutely necessary to make men inquire. Thus, when man gets doubts then only he begins to question whether his inherited belief system is true or false.

The pursuit of truth is getting rid of all doubts.  The pursuit of truth begins with doubt.  That is, doubting one’s own self, and one’s own beliefs.:~Santthosh Kumaar

The ultimate truth or Brahman has to be realized first, then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying.+

The ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth has to be realized first,  then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying. A Gnani does not require any scriptures.

Sages of truth restrained themselves parting the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the mass and only a selected few. It was hidden from the mass who were not qualified and receptive to it.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was not written down but was imparted orally to the chosen few. Thus, religion was given to the mass, and knowledge of the spirit is given to only a selected few. Thus we find traces of knowledge of the spirit in the religious books in the form of parables.
Katha Upanishad says: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (II -23-P-20)
The Soul, the Self reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
Sage Goudpada: ~ To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. He begins by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal?" etc, because that is the right way to discuss or teach. People must first know what they are talking about. (Manduka Karika)
***
The reasoning is interpretable in two ways. The egocentric interpretation is to apply it only to the waking experience. The soulcentric interpretation is to apply it to the three states. The latter leads to a final settlement of the problems because it takes all data into consideration.
As we keep digging deeper and deeper, the truth will shine as pure awareness in the midst of the duality (waking).
Mundaka Upanishad 1.3:~ Complete knowledge includes knowledge of the phenomenal world, the spirit behind it, and the source of both of them.  When the cause of all causes becomes known, then everything knowable becomes known, and nothing remains unknown.”
Not by listening to preachers, nor by the study of books, not by meritorious deeds, nor by any other means can one attain that Self-realization, which is attainable only through association with  Gnani and the clear quest of the Self.

Sage Sankara:~ VC-63 -  "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

There is no need to study Advaita Vedanta or Buddhism to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  All accumulated knowledge is of no use to realize the Advaitic truth beyond form, time, and space.

There is no need to study Advaita Vedanta to realize the Advaitic truth beyond form, time, and space. Advaita is not a theory or a philosophy. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self.  There is no need for any theory or philosophy or scriptures to acquire Self-knowledge. Only a  perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.

There is no need to buy books of  Sage Sankara in order to acquire Self-knowledge. A perfect understanding of 'what is what' is needed. Nothing else is a need other than realizing the fact that, form, time, and space are one in essence and that essence is the Soul,  the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness in order to get the Advaitic self-awareness.

Self-knowledge cannot be attained by the study of the scriptures and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge.  Therefore,  there is no use in studying the scriptures and other scriptures to acquire non-dual wisdom.  That is why Bhagavan Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sage Sankara indicated that the ultimate truth lies beyond religion,  the concept of God, and the scriptures.

There is only one Reality to be known, the same for all seekers, but the ways to it, are hidden by religion.  Self-discovery is the only way, towards the non-dualistic absolute without any religious doctrines, which will help the seekers to unfold the mystery of the illusion in which we all are searching for the truth of our true existence.

Sage  Sankara said:~Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works, nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) VivekaChudamani v 56, pg 25

The citations from scriptures are not proofs.  The ultimate truth has to be proved without the scriptures.  The ultimate truth is the universal truth and it does not belong to any religion.  Religion causes diversity in unity, whereas, the ultimate truth brings unity in diversity.

That is why Sage Sankara himself says: ~ VC 59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures, consisting of many words are a dense forest that merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.

61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

It is not that one should pore over the ancient scriptures.  There is no need to study first, and then realize. One has to realize first, then only he will know ‘what is truth’ and ‘what is untruth’. One has to make discoveries through the process of rational thinking.

That is why Sage Sankara says ~ VC-65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it, and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

He who has not rectified his reasoning base from the ‘I’ (form) base to soul (formless) base and one who does not have the intense urge to know the non-dualistic or Advaitic truth,  and who is not tranquil and subdued and whose mind is not receptive, cannot acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
In Vedanta, it is Lord Krishna teaches us in the Gita, and in it, he lashes out against the karmakanda. It is generally believed that the Buddha and Mahavira were the first to attack the Vedas.
It is not so. Lord Krishna himself spoke against them long before these two religious leaders. At one place in the Gita, he says to Arjuna: "The Vedas are associated with the three qualities of sattva, rajas, and tamas.

You must transcend these three qualities. Full of desire, they (the practitioners of Vedic rituals) long for paradise and keep thinking of pleasures and material prosperity. They are born again and again and their minds are never fixed in samadhi, these men clinging to Vedic rituals. “In another passage Lord Krishna says: "Not by the Vedas is self to be realized, nor by sacrifices nor by much study. . . . "

When we realize that form, time, and space are one in essence,  then it leads to Advaitic self-awareness.  In Self-awareness even though there is diversity,  there is unity in diversity, because everything is created of the same stuff. That stuff is consciousness. There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. :~Santthosh Kumaar

The Soul, the Self is not ‘I’. The Soul is the cause of the 'i'. I’ is merely an illusion.+

The experience of Birth, life, and death, and the world are a reality within the waking experience, but the waking experience is a falsehood.  Thus,  whatever is experienced as a child, youth, and old age is false.

Whatever appears as the form is false. Whatever has a name is false.  Whatever appears and disappears is a falsehood. The people who live in the appeared universe are bound to be false because the universe appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep.

All three states are a falsehood.  Whatever is permanent is reality whatever impermanent falsehood is.  Thus, the three states which appear and disappear are a falsehood.

All the contents of the universe are false.  Thus, whatever is born, lives, and dies within the universe is a falsehood. The individual experiences are a reality within the falsehood.

Gold, silver, and diamonds have their value within the falsehood.  All the attachment burdens and bondage are experienced as reality within the falsehood.  Religion and its idea of God are based on the false entity within the falsehood.  Love and hate are a reality within the falsehood.  The universe and all its contents are an illusory reality.

The  Soul, the Self is not ‘I’. The Soul is the cause of the 'I'. 'I’ is merely an illusion.  The illusion is present in the form universe. The universe appears as a waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality).

You are the ego (waking entity). You are the false entity within the false experience (waking). There is a need to know “What is ‘I’?” before proceeding in pursuit of the truth.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that ‘I’ is not limited to the physical entity, but to the whole universe. Therefore, limiting the ‘I’ to the physical entity and viewing and judging the truth on the base of a false physical entity (ego) within the false experience (waking) is erroneous.

If the Soul, the  Self is formless then the question of inward and outward does not arise, because in self –awareness the body, ego, and the world are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness.  All these yogic theories hold no water on the standpoint of the formless soul or consciousness, the innermost self.

The Brahman alone is real and eternal.  Thus whatever is real and eternal has to be identified as God. To identify the real and eternal, one has to overcome the ignorance caused by the illusion. To overcome ignorance,  one has to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

The individual experience within the dream is a reality within the dream. the waking reality is also a reality within the waking experience. This waking experience is a parallel dream, and the dream is a parallel waking experience.

Only when the Soul, the Self wakes up in waking the dream becomes unreal. When the Self-consciously wakes up in its formless nondual true nature in the midst of waking experience then all the three states are merely an illusion created out of its formless nondual true nature.

Self is not this waking entity. Therefore, identifying with the waking entity as the Self is the gravest mistake.  Identification of the Self with the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness leads one to Nondualistic self-awareness.

If one misses this point, that is, if we blunder in recognizing the soul as his innermost self, then we will be lost in the pitch darkness of physical existence (duality).

The ignorant have to recognize the source of the mind. These three states are merely an illusion created out of consciousness.  Thinking this universe is made of five elements is a great mistake, because the five elements cease to exist in reality. the duality is not a reality from the ultimate standpoint.

The form, time, and space within the dream become unreal when waking takes place. Similarly,  the form, time, and space of the waking also become unreal when Advaitic wisdom dawns.

The wisdom dawns only when one realizes,  the self is neither the waking entity nor the self is the dream entity. It is erroneous to judge and reason and conclude the ultimate truth on the base of the waking entity and the waking world because the waking experience itself is an illusion.

This universe is common to all of us, therefore one must include the universe in his investigation in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

It is only after one has inquired into the nature of the objective universe, that he should inquire into who is the knower (witness). If one,  inquiries into the knower before the inquiry into the universe, then it is mere mysticism.  One must have a perfect understanding of 'what is what'.

v  “What is the universe?

v  What is this ‘I’?

That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC~ 63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

The universe exists because of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The moment the ignorance vanishes the universe with all its contents becomes unreal. Thus realizing the unreal nature of the universe or waking experience,  in the midst of the waking experience,  leads to nondualistic or Advaitic Self-awareness. Self-awareness frees one from experiencing the waking experience as a reality.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sri, Sankara said:~ One must first know what is before him.+

Truth-realization is to investigate the truth of the physical existence or universe.  It seeks the meaning of all that is seen, known believed, and experienced as A  person and of the world that confronts him.

That is why Jesus said:~  "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. (THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS- Saying 5)

It means one has to know the world which confronts him confronts to realize his body and world are made of the same essence and that essence is Spirit [father].

That is why Sage Sankara said:~ One must first know what is before him. If he cannot know that, what else can he know or understand? If he gives up the external world in his inquiry, he cannot get the whole truth.

Sage Sankara said:~VC ~63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

Jesus said:~"Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all." (Gospel of Thomas 2)

"The Kingdom of God is inside you and all around you, Not in a mansion of wood and stone.  Split a piece of wood and God is there, Lift a stone, and you will find God." (Gospel of Thomas)

Man learns from his experience that he is ever liable to err, which leads to disappointment and suffering. It naturally, therefore seeks to avoid a repetition of an error. Thus he has to make efforts at seeking truth or freedom from error.  But because of ignorance, he fails to investigate the true existence. The ignorance is present in the form of ‘I’.

The deeper self-search itself is meditation. People think they don’t make progress. It is because they have not gone deep enough, and they assume Self-realization is some physical experience like yogic Samadhi.   Self-awareness comes naturally when one becomes fully aware and with a firm conviction of the existence of the formless witness of the three states.   The formless witness, which is consciousness, exists prior to the three states. Thus the seeker must realize what exists prior to the appearance of the three states.

Though the man can exercise his reason, yet he does not get to a stage at which there can be no disappointment or suffering. He has to make his "trials" as often as is necessary.  But the pity of it is that he does not realize that he has not attained truth, unless doubt arises as a result of disappointments or sufferings, of his own or of others.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Veda says that this entire world is a homogeneous entity called as Brahman. Veda also says that all the forms existing in this world are generated from, maintained by, and dissolved into Brahman.+

Vedas says that this entire world is a homogeneous entity called as Brahman. Veda also says that all the forms existing in this world are generated from, maintained by, and dissolved into Brahman”.

Sage Sankara says:~  Atman is Brahman- it means the soul is Brahman. ~ Brahman is the ultimate truth.   Therefore, the soul (spirit) is everything.  The forms and names and whatever is known, seen, believed, and experienced within the world are generated, maintained by, and dissolved into Soul, which is Brahman.  Therefore, the man and his experience of the world appear as a waking experience, which is created sustained by, and finally dissolves as the Soul(Spirit), which is Brahman or God in truth.

Chandogya Upanishad:~  sarvam khalvidam Brahma All this (universe) is verily Brahman. By following back all of the relative appearances in the world, we eventually return to that from which it is all manifest – the non-dual reality.

One becomes limited to the concepts, names, and forms within the waking or dream. Waking or dream originates from the soul. The soul is the true self.  Realizing the soul as the true self is truth realization.

The Soul, the Self is limitless, permanent and unchanging, and by its nature nondual and universal. The Soul, the Self sees the illusory universe, which comes and goes as waking or dream.

There is no need to study the scriptures in order to acquire Self-knowledge. Realizing the fact that the mind is the whole physical existence and the substance of the mind is the soul is enough to acquire nondual wisdom.

The so called gurus are playing with words because maybe the meaning is floating somewhere in between the spaces of words.  People who think themselves to be in a position to air their knowledge forget one basic fact, namely that they go by mere appearances. Someone expounds knowledge and the one who receives it begins to ape the person from whom he has received the knowledge.

Thus, whatever the teacher wears, he will wear; whatever mannerisms the teacher affects, he will imitate. Moreover, the transfer of so-called "knowledge" has been only of concepts. This is essentially how tradition becomes established and traditional forms of worship come into being, all of which have nothing to do with Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

When one goes into the annals of the history it looks like the true AdvAith expounded by Sage Sankara and Sage Goudpada was lost or mutilated by the orthodox, because the preaching and practice do not match.

It is necessary for the seeker to do his homework, and verify the validity of all the claims, rather than blindly believe, what others expound as knowledge, till, the un-contradicted truth is obtained.

The seeker must have the courage of Buddha to accept the truth and reject the untruth. Since Buddha rejected religion, the idea of god, and scriptures, therefore, it is evident that he has gone through every aspect and verified and found them to be inadequate and useless for the pursuit of truth.

Even Buddhism is mixed up with regional culture and traditions of the local religion, wherever it existed. Thus, getting the full essence of Buddhism is very difficult.

The scriptures are for the ignorant masses, who wholly accept the material world as it presents itself. Wisdom is for those who have begun to realize that things are not what they seem.

Each sect concocts a God to suit its own purposes.  Such concocted Gods have no value in pursuit of truth.  The man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an auto-suggestion. But as one goes deeper in self-search one becomes aware of the fact that Vedas including the Upanishads considered being supremely authoritative, as revealed truth.

Upanishads clearly say:~

Katha Upanishad declares:This Ataman cannot be attained by the study of the Vedas, or by intelligence, or by much hearing of sacred books. It is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (Katha Upanishad Ch-II -23-P-20)

Mundaka Upanishad:~ This Ataman cannot be attained through the study of the Vedas, nor through intelligence, nor through much learning. He who chooses Ataman—by him alone is Atman attained. It is Ataman that reveals to the seeker Its true nature.~(3 page70 Upanishads by Nikilananda)

It means the truth is beyond the scriptures and egocentric intelligence.  In order to grasp, assimilate and realize the non-dualistic truth the seeker to employ soul-centric reasoning faculty.

Sage  Sankara says in a commentary in Vedanta sutra that what is accepted without a proper enquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.

Seekers of truth should not believe blindly in traditional orthodox Nonduality without verifying all the facts from every angle. One has to reflect through reasoning over and over again without getting tired of the process.:~Santthosh Kumaar

By surrendering to any physical guru or a Godmen, is not the means to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.+

By surrendering to any physical guru or a Godmen, is not the means to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.   The concept of surrendering to a guru is a religious fable. Gurus and Godmen belong to religion.

Religious path is not the path of truth or Brahman.  Gurus and Godmen are nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman therefore they are not Gnanis.

Someone posing as a Gnani, because he is some gurus’ direct disciple cannot be a Gnani. Those who pose themselves as Gnanis are not Gnanis.

A Gnani never poses himself as a Guru,  a swami,  a sadhu,  or a  yogi,  or some guru’s disciple.

Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread." Exploring if an outside observer can, in all cases, determine if a person is Enlightened or not, the venerated Indian Sanyasin, Sage Sankara, in his work The Crest Jewel of Discrimination (1) or as it is sometimes known, Viveka Chudamani (2), states that the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).

Sage Sankara meant, taking sanyasa and wearing  religious robes to earn bread. Sanyasa is not a qualification to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana

A Gnani wears no signs which means he does not identify himself as Guru or teacher or swami.

Sage Sankara page 482: On Gnani: "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior."

If the knower of Brahman (Gnani) wears no signs that means he does not identify himself as Guru or yogi or Guru or Swami.

When Sage Sankara says:~  a Gnani "bears no outward mark of a holy man then why stick to this gurus and surrender.

A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and his religious identity and becomes Avadhuta and live as he wishes.

The Soul, the Self is the true guru. The seeker has to surrender to the Self by realizing the fact that, the Self is not physical but the Self is the Soul or Spirit.

By realizing the Self is not physical but the Self is the Soul or Spirit, he will be able to drop all the accumulated knowledge and inherited conditioning based on physicality and he finds freedom from experiencing the illusory universe as a reality. ~ Santthosh Kumaar
