Not everyone becomes Bill Gates if they adopt his life skills. Everyone’s life circumstances are different.+

Everyone has a story of success and failure. Everyone is most interested in sharing their story of success and failure with others.   People think that their success story can be applied to others who are less fortunate in their life to get success. Thus, they try to impose their idea of success on others by propagating their success story.  But they themselves are failures in recognizing the truth, because they are unaware of the fact that, their success story is based on the false self within the false experience.

Not everyone becomes Bill Gates if they adopt his life skills. Everyone’s life circumstances are different. The circumstances whether they are good or bad come on their own and they disappear on their own.  Positive thinking only helps one to move ahead in time thinking and hallucinating the bright future, but the results may be favorable or unfavorable. Circumstances arise not because, of individual conduct or action.

A recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan affected many successful people. Many successful people lost their dear ones and wealth. All these circumstances of life come and go on their own. When the circumstances are favorable life goes on smoothly. But in unfavorable circumstances,   life becomes very hard and miserable. And there are also mixed circumstances which make us happy and also miserable.

If a successful person becomes a failure in his dream and a failure person becomes a successful person in his dream, their dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place. In the same way, the waking also becomes unreal when one becomes aware of the fact that, the self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity.  Whatever one sees, knows, believes, and experiences within the waking or dream experience is a falsehood. Self-Realization is necessary to realize “what is the truth” and “what is untruth”.

Favorable circumstances do not arise because of one’s positivity. And because of positive thinking, the circumstances will not change. Painful experiences of the past and fear of the future make one think negatively.

Thinking positively it helps to keep away the future fear in the present nothing more. Thus, one has to understand and realize the fact that, these positive and negative circumstances do not depend on his doership because they arise on their own and they disappear on their own.

In life, everything happens on its own. No one can plan it. We did not plan our birth, it just happened. In the same way, our life is a package of unknown circumstances everything is happening on its own, whether they are good or bad.

In the past, some sages introduced the concept of God to cast the burden of worldly suffering, so that everyone can divert their attention on the imaginary entity by indulging in prayers, worship, and orthodoxy,  and crossing the ocean of this-worldly suffering. Thus, the mass followed it and passed it from one generation to the next. So everyone inherited blind beliefs they imposed on their children, and they themselves indulge in priestcraft without verifying the validity of their own inherited belief system.

The truth is hidden by the orthodoxy in the name of protecting their God, and their religion is meant for those who are incapable of thinking deeply about their own existence and also it helps the people to adopt certain discipline, morals,s, and ethics in society with its code of conduct.

Love was a religious tool it helps society to a certain extent.  Love and co-exist. People talk of love because they are deprived of it. It is impossible to love everyone. It is easy to say but difficult to practice in worldly life because everyone loves their own ego. Thus, this egoic love is temporary because the ego is a false self within the false experience.

People have the notion that the more and more they gratify their senses for attaining worldly pleasures, the happier they will be is not true at all, because they think the physical self is the real self, therefore they are unaware of the fact that the Self is not physical, but 'Self' is the Spirit, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Consciousness can stay with or without waking or dream.  Thus, it is time to realize their pleasure and suffering are limited to the waking experience, which is merely an illusion.

It is the illusory sense-pleasure that is responsible for the forgetfulness of the Self, which is in the form of consciousness, which results in one’s sorrows and sufferings.

Suffering is the reminder to search for the remedy to overcome the suffering caused by the ignorance of the true self. Pleasure is the cause of ignorance. But if the real self is realized, then, the illusion will not prevail as a reality.

Why do mortals then become attached to worldly pleasures in the first place?

It is the illusion that allures one to enjoy the mundane objects in a futile effort of satisfying the unceasing demands of his senses within the waking or dream. A person within the illusion becomes intoxicated with lust, greed, anger, attachment, false ego, enviousness, stubborn-mindedness, and their numerous variations within the illusion.

Consequently, the individual 'Self' gets caught in the illusory cycle of birth, old age, disease, and death within the illusion. This is an illusion, by which the consciousness is forgotten; emotional attachment and love of duality are born.

The ignorance of the true self is the cause of duality. The duality is the cause of illusion. The illusion is the cause of experiencing unreality as reality. Because of these pluralistic phenomena of illusory -vision, material happiness appears to be followed by sorrow. If there is laughter, there is a cry; if there is a birth, there is a death; if there is a rich, there is a poor; so on and so forth.

Everything in the waking or dream experience is in a state of constant flux; there can be found no everlasting happiness. The ego is in control of evil passions, evil intent, and duality.

Everyone wishes for happiness, pleasures, joy, peace, etc., and none asks for suffering, misery, etc. But in the wake of pleasure, there comes suffering. The pleasure and pain co-exist within the illusion. People do not understand this.  Therefore, there is necessary to realize the fact that the mind, which appears as a waking or dream is merely an illusion.

It is the attachment to the form of separate objects which keeps one from apprehending their unity, not the seeing of them. One has to think of both form and essence, by practice he must get to the stage where he can think of both simultaneously. This is done by knowing that the form is made of consciousness, which is the true Self. This requires sharp intelligence and constant repetition of practices of seeing both form and essence at the same time.

False and true knowledge exists only when one talks on the base of the ‘ego’: when one knows the truth, however, such classifications cannot arise because everything is then known to be the consciousness, and no questions of where and how or why can arise.

One must make an effort to know consciousness as self. Consciousness is there always. One has got it, there is nothing new to be acquired, only have the sharpness to grasp and understand it, when told about it. But there is a difference between understanding and realization.

An effort is required for this understanding only, whereas once understood no special effort is needed to remember one understands.

Until then he only has an idea of the soul, which is in the form of consciousness he only partially understands. But once he thoroughly grasps what it is and that all these things are consciousness, he will then constantly find it present everywhere without further effort, because he will perceive consciousness by understanding, even in the midst of the waking experience.

When there is only one thing (consciousness) known, there is nothing to change, nothing to appear or disappear; when one speaks of remembering or forgetting Consciousness that implies he believes in the existence of something else, i.e. a second thing, which is to be remembered. That would show you have not known that all is one. But knowing it, there is no second, consequently no intermittent perception of consciousness, but a permanent effortless understanding that it alone is.

When one gets a glimpse of truth mentally try to repeat it a number of times to establish it. The self must raise itself by the Self."

Beginners and intermediates must indulge in listening, reading, writing and discussing, and constantly reflecting on the subject. Discussing other than the “Self” is a waste of time. Discussion of accumulated knowledge and intellectual speculation satisfies only those who want to exhibit their skills of playing with the words.  Thus, it is better to avoid such a discussion about who is more interested in exhibiting their accumulated dross and less interested in moving forward in their pursuit of truth.    Only through deeper self–search on his own, does one becomes receptive to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

The seeker has to realize the fact that, the imagination is cannot transport him or her to the non-dual destination. He has to attain a state where he can negate all ideas and imagination, which are part of the duality [waking/dream]. Therefore, he has to know and grasp mentally the  Soul, the Self is the witness of the three states.

When this new idea of the Soul, the Self, which is the witness is formed in the subconscious, it will help to replace the old idea of the physical witness, the same way as --One thorn pulling out the other thorn and both thrown away--that is the only way.  and hence seeker of truth has to “think deeply and discriminate between the base of ego and base of the soul to get un- contactable truth “as a tip against getting misled by others.

One has to differentiate between understanding the spiritual truth and realizing the spiritual truth. The former makes to know with certainty; the latter is ultimate realizing and final with firm conviction.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Make sure ‘what is this ‘I’, supposed to be in actuality.+

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes.” (2.18)
The Soul is not ‘I’. ‘‘Self’ is not the ‘I’. The Soul is the ‘Self’. The Soul, the ‘‘Self’’ is the witness of the ‘I’ which appears and disappears.
You are seeking to realize the truth of your true existence. To discover the truth, there is a need to understand the nature of the ‘I’.
Without knowing what this ‘I’ is supposed to be in actuality you will never be able to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
Till you hold the ‘‘Self’ ‘as the ‘I’ you will never be able to get ‘Self’-realization. ‘I’ hides the Soul, which is the ‘Self’. ‘
Know what this ‘I’ is first. Without realizing what this ‘I’ is supposed to be it is impossible for the Soul to free itself from the dualistic illusion.
The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth.

Remember: ~
Make sure ‘what is this ‘I’, supposed to be in actuality.
The Self is not ‘I’.
The ‘I’ is not the Soul, the innermost Self.
The ‘I’ is the mind.
The mind is the universe.
The universe appears as a waking or dream (duality).
The waking is a parallel dream
The dream is parallel waking.
The ‘I’ appears and disappears.
Remember:~
When ‘I’ appears then only the mind appears.
When ‘I’ disappears then the mind disappears.
When the mind appears then the universe appears.
When the mind disappears then the universe disappears.
When the universe appears then the waking appears
When the universe disappears then the waking disappears.
Whatever prevails without the ‘I’ is the Soul, which is the cause of the ‘I’ and it itself is uncaused. The ‘I’ is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16
The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.
Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)
That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ “If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.
People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. is no need to convince such a mindset. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.
That is why Sage Sankara says: - VC-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it, and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.
People refuse to accept anything other than their Guru's words. For them, their Guru's words are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything else other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.
Such a mindset is not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara says Atman is Brahman and everything is Brahman is scientific declaration.+

Sage Sankara:~  VC~.63- "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know the Truth, like the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

There is no need to study Advaita Vedanta or Buddhism to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  All accumulated knowledge is of no use to realize the Advaitic truth beyond the form, time, and space.

There is no need to study Advaita Vedanta to realize the Advaitic truth is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. Advaita is not a theory or a philosophy. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the innermost self.  There is no need for any theory or philosophy or scriptures to acquire Self-knowledge. Only a  perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.

There is no need to buy books of  Sage Sankara to acquire Self-knowledge. A perfect understanding of 'what is what' is needed. Nothing is required other than realizing the fact that, the form, time and space are one in essence.  And that essence is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness to get the  Advaitic self-awareness.

Self-knowledge cannot be attained by the study of the scriptures and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge.  Therefore,  there is no use in studying the scriptures and other scriptures to acquire non-dual wisdom.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sage Sri, Sankara indicated that the ultimate truth lies beyond religion,  the concept of god and scriptures.

If one becomes fully aware of the fact that, the self is not formed but the Self is formless then, all the three states will naturally become unreal. If one makes no discriminations, the thousands of things are as they are, of single stuff.

To understand the mystery of this single stuff is to be released from all entanglements. When all things are seen equally the timeless Self-stuff is reached. No comparisons or analogies are possible in this causeless, relationless state, which is illusionless existence.

The observer (Soul) and the observed (three states) are one in essence. Until we can view and judge from the standpoint of the observer we will not become aware of the observer (Soul) and observed (three states) are one in essence. The essence is consciousness.   Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

If the Advaita is bifurcated from all the religious add-ons it becomes more scientific then it becomes very easy to understand and assimilate.   All these scientific –inventions are nearer to the truth, but they are not the truth in themselves.

Sage Sri, Sankara, and Sage Goudpada have declared non-dual truth centuries back, but one has to reach the destination with the scientific or rational investigation, not through the punditry, which is based on orthodoxy. Until one mentally reaches the conclusion, the conviction will not arise. Without firm conviction, wisdom will not dawn.  Therefore, there is a need to know consciousness is real all else is a myth, which Sage Sankara declared as the world is myth Brahman alone is real.

Sage Sankara says Atman is Brahman and everything is Brahman is a scientific declaration not religious or yogic.  Sage Sankara and Sage Goudpada are more scientific than anyone else in the world. Since the real Advaitic essence is hidden it cannot be got without the inner (mental) journey.

Sage Goudpada says that: ~ The merciful Veda teaches the karma and Upasana to people of lower and middling intellect, while Jnana is taught to those of higher intellect.

Gnana here is the knowledge uncontradictable truth or scientific truth.  Thus, their scientific truth of the whole not a part is declared by Sage Sankara 1400 years back and thought only to those of higher intellect.   Thus, karma and Upasana (religion and yoga), which are meant for the mass have to be bifurcated from Advaita to reach the ultimate end.

Advaitic Wisdom is for those who are capable of inquiring into their own existence to know and realize the ultimate truth, which is Brahman.

The true Advaita expounded by  Sage Sankara and  Sage Goudpada is pure Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atman Gnana leads one to Self-Awareness whereas the orthodoxy is more concerned with the practical life within the practical world indulging in non-Vedic rituals.

Sage Sankara says in Brahma Sutras: that Brahman is the cause of the world, whereas in Mandukya he denies it. This is because he says that at the lower stage of understanding, the former teaching must be given, for people will get frightened as they cannot understand how the world can be without a cause, but to those in a higher stage, the truth of non-causality can be revealed.

Sage Sankara himself has warned us not to use ambiguous words and to practice semantic analysis in his book "Definition of one's own Self. ( Page 199, v.24 of "Sankara's Selected Works)

Bhagavad Gita: ~brahmano hi pratisthaham- Brahman is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material.  ( 14.27)

Sage Sankara’s notion of Maya or the cosmic illusion (mind or matter), must be transcended to realize the truth of Brahman, which means the ultimate truth.

If Brahman is considered the all-pervading consciousness then, it is necessary to realize, the Soul or the consciousness as self. The consciousness which pervades all the three states, to realize the fact that, there is no second thing exists other the consciousness. Thus, consciousness (Ataman) is the ultimate truth (Brahman).

The Sruti itself says:~ "This Atma is not to be attained by a study of the Vedas.  (Katha Upanishad I, 2, 23.)

It means the seeker has to investigate on his own and realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Bhagavan Buddha:There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

Ultimate Truth can be known if the seeker keeps up the pursuit to the very end, whereas some assert that Ultimate Truth cannot be known.

When the Vedas and Upanishad declare that Consciousness or Atman is actually nothing but Brahman, then why go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. One has to realize the fact that, the mind is in the form of the universe.  Trace the source of the mind and realize that the source is consciousness. The mind arises from consciousness as waking or dream and subsides as deep sleep.

All are searching for truth within the illusion. they are not being aware of the fact that the illusion is created out of single stuff. that single stuff is consciousness.  Because of ignorance, everyone thinks their body and their experience of the universe are not consciousness and consciousness is limited to their body.

Thus searching the truth in the illusion with the illusory self, within the illusory experience, has to be an illusion.  The illusion is created and sustained and finally dissolves as consciousness. Consciousness is the material of the illusion.   Since there is no second thing other than consciousness.  Consciousness itself is God or Brahman.  This conviction derives only through deeper inquiry, analysis, and reasoning.

Many people want to take as little trouble as possible and gain as much as possible. They disdain the hard labor of thinking needed in pursuit of truth and hope to get the truth by doing nothing i.e. merely believing or refraining from thought in yoga.

Conversion can occur only in the sphere of religion, never in the pursuit of truth,  because the truth has to be ascertained by the seeker himself.

When one knows the Advaitic truth, he becomes free from the sphere of imagination.   If one’s reason is not sharp enough, then only religion and yoga can satisfy him. The seeker of truth examines both scientific and religious doctrines and discoveries and evaluates them. :~Santthosh Kumaar

The mantra-yoga consisting of repeating the name of God, or even the AUM; thousands of times yield nothing.+

The Atman or Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the innermost self. Consciousness is the witness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

What is not consciousness (formless) in the experience of diversity [waking or universe]?  The waking and the dream cease to exist without consciousness.  The seeker, seeking and his destination all are one in essence.

There is only a need to realize the whole universe in which we exist is created out of consciousness (Soul or Atman), the Self.  From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the universe is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.  Thus, from the ultimate standpoint, no second thing exists other than consciousness. Thus consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman  God in truth.

Sage Sankara says:~ Yoga is not the means of liberation. (p-one thirty-two and thirty-three of his commentary on Brihadaranyakopanishad).

Brihad Upanishad:~ (Page one thirty-three- first para): - even yoga cannot give perfect concentration and that the only way to gain it is philosophical realization. This confirms the Manduka Upanishad statement that yoga can no more succeed than the ocean can be emptied with a blade of grass.

In Sutra Bashya and Mandukya it is given that Samadhi and sleep are identical. Brihad Upanishad does not advocate Samadhi. People are going down, down, and down.

The mantra-yoga consists of repeating the name of God, or even the AUM; thousands of times yield nothing. It can appeal only to the ignorant, to those who cannot think deeper. It is merely a religious fable. The real exercise is to think of the meaning of the name or the AUM and then only do you get something.

Mantras can do nothing. If they really had any power why did not Krishna use one to stop the Mahabharata war? All the magical power of mantras are religious fable because religion is based on the false self(waking or ego), and false experience(waking or world)  Visions and Samadhi are illusions from the standpoint of the soul, the innermost self.

That is why Sage Sankara:~VC-63- Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

Ish Upanishad says:~Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge and have thus committed suicide

Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge and have thus committed suicide, as it were, are doomed to enter those worlds after death.

This is a condemnation of people who do not try to attain Self-knowledge. They are, in a real sense, committing suicide, for what can be worse than being a slave to sense enjoyment, completely oblivious of the real purpose of life, which is to be one’s, own master?

Mundaka Upanishad:- The study of the Vedas, linguistics, Rituals, astronomy, and all the arts Can be called lower knowledge. The higher Is that which leads to Self-realization. The eye cannot see it; the mind cannot grasp it. The deathless Self has neither caste nor race, Neither eyes nor ears nor hands nor feet. Sages say this Self is infinite in the great And in the small, everlasting and changeless, The source of life.

Manduka Upanishad( p.231):~  Those that want ultimate truth Brahman will not practice control of the mind.

The earliest ancients sages used the word ‘I’ to the witness of the three states not to the ego as moderns use it and think the ‘I’ without the body is self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘i’ is not the self but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true self, which is eternal.

In the pursuit of truth discussion of unimportant subject matter is a great hindrance. Personal attacks have to be avoided to maintain the sanctity of the forum.

The path of truth is a path of verification. Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification. Agreeing to disagree causes unnecessary friction, everyone has a point of view and everyone must respect others' views wisdom just to maintain harmony irregardless of whether the point made was acceptable or not.

There are millions in search of truth but one in million will be able to grasp it.  I am just posting what revels from the inner core. I just share with like-minded fellow seekers.   I am just highlighting the obstacle in the pursuit of truth.  Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is not based on any teaching or teacher. The pursuit of truth is the pursuit of verification not the pursuit of argument.   Intellectual discussion is a great hindrance to the pursuit of truth.

Sharing is giving info for the sake of goodness. As with all things, achieving a balance of peaceful communications is established with respect, humility, understanding, and patience. Balancing an achievement is harder.:~Santthosh Kumaar

His father, who was a great scholar, would recite the Vedas.+

Even the Bhagavad Gita does not have the majesty found in the Ashtavakra Samhita.:~Osho

We are embarking on a rare journey. Man has many scriptures, but none comparable to the Gita of Ashtavakra. Before it the Vedas pale, the Upanishads speak with a weak voice. Even the Bhagavad Gita does not have the majesty found in the Ashtavakra Samhita -- it is simply unparalleled.

The most important thing is that neither society nor politics nor any other institution of human life have had any influence on the sayings of Ashtavakra. They are such a pure expression -- transcending emotion, transcending time and death -- there is nothing comparable.

Perhaps this is why Ashtavakra's Gita, the ASHTAVAKRA SAMHITA, has not had much impact. Krishna's Bhagavad Gita has been very influential. The first reason is that Krishna's Gita is a synthesis. He is more concerned with synthesis than with Truth. The desire for synthesis is so strong that if necessary Krishna doesn't mind sacrificing the truth a little.

Krishna's Gita is a hodgepodge containing everything; hence it suits everyone because there is something in it for everyone. It is difficult to find any tradition whose voice is not found in the Gita. It is difficult to find anyone who does not take solace from the Gita. But for such people, Ashtavakra's Gita will prove very difficult.

Ashtavakra is not for synthesis -- he is a man of truth. He speaks the truth just as it is, without any artifice or coloring. He is not concerned about the listener, he does not care whether his listener will understand or not. Such a pure expression of truth has never happened anywhere before, nor has it ever happened again.

Before we enter the sutras, it is necessary to understand a few things about Ashtavakra. Not much is known as he was neither a social nor political man, so no historical record exists. Only a few incidents are known -- and they are just wondrous, hardly believable. But if you understand them deeply the significance will be revealed.

The first incident happened before Ashtavakra was born. Nothing is known of what came afterwards but this is an incident while he was still in the womb. His father, who was a great scholar, would recite the Vedas every day while Ashtavakra listened from the womb. One day a voice came from the womb saying, "Stop it! This is all nonsense. There is no wisdom whatsoever in this. Mere words -- just a collection of words. Is wisdom found in scriptures? Wisdom is within oneself. Is truth found in words? Truth is within oneself."

Naturally, his father was enraged. First of all, he was a father and on top of that a scholar. And his son hidden in the womb was saying such things! Not even born yet! He exploded in anger, became engulfed in fire: The father's ego had been hit. And a scholar's ego... he was a great pundit, a great debater, knowledgeable in scriptures...

In anger, he uttered a curse: When born, the boy would be deformed; his limbs would be bent in eight parts. Hence his name: Ashtavakra means one whose body has eight bends. He was born crippled in eight places; eight places hunchbacked like a camel. In a rage, his father deformed his son's body.

In the pursuit of truth all the theories and scriptures are not needed.:~  Maha Gita

I searched for God and found only the Soul, the Self. I searched for the Self and found only the God in truth.+

One has to go beyond Vedas means to go beyond religion. Going beyond religion means, going be One has to go beyond Vedas means going beyond religion. Going beyond religion means, going beyond the concept of God.

Thus, going beyond Veda, religion and conceptual god means going beyond illusion. That is the  end of Vedas (Veda –antha)
I searched for God and found only the Soul, the  Self. I searched for the Self and found only God.
When one searches for the  Self then finds only the Soul.  The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the ultimate Truth or Brahman.   Brahman is God.

Meher Baba said:~ A true aspirant is not content with the knowledge of spiritual realities based on hearsay... he insists on the direct knowledge."

Jesus said:-"Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all." (Gospel of Thomas 2)

Jesus said:~” Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. (THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS- Saying 5)

"The Kingdom of God is inside you and all around you, Not in a mansion of wood and stone.  Split a piece of wood and God is there, Lift a stone and you will find God." (Gospel of Thomas)

Gospel Thomas logian 22:~  Jesus saw infants being suckled.  He said to his disciples, “These infants being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom.”

They said to him, “Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?”

Jesus said to them,  “When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside  and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female is female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye,  and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom.”

Swami Vivekananda:~  Stick  to the truth.  Beware of even that is untrue. stick to the truth and we shall succeed, maybe slowly, but surely.

Sage Sankara:~ VC--"All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.

Sage Sankara said:~  Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

According to Advaita Vedanta, the Veda addresses itself to two kinds of audiences - the ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices, and the more advanced seeker who seeks to know Brahman. Thus, the Purva mimam. sa, with its emphasis on the Karma Kanda of the Vedas, is meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way. However, the Vedanta, with its emphasis on the Jnana Kanda, is meant for those who wish to go beyond such transient pleasures

Kabir lived in Kashi, a place abounding in scholars. They believed it was enough to read, to accumulate knowledge from books. They were well versed in the Vedas, the Upanishads, and the other scriptures and they looked upon Kabir as ignorant, as an illiterate man. In one sense, you can say Kabir was illiterate. If you consider a scholar as literate, as a well-educated man, then Kabir was definitely illiterate. But of what value is the scholar’s knowledge? A scholar will go on and on about the immortality of the soul, but when death approaches you will find him trembling and weeping and wailing. All this talk of immortality will crumble into nothingness because he has not known it..: ~ Osho -The Great Secret, ch. 2

Kabir: knows. What he is talking about is not an explanation, what he is talking about is an experience – he is sharing his joy, he is sharing something that he has known, and he is singing the song about the unsung.  Remember, that whenever Kabir talks about God it is not a belief; he knows it, it is his experience. He is talking out of his experience; hence he can be of immense help to you...: ~ Osho --The Guest, ch. 1

Remember:~

Those who lack the intelligence to discriminate between formless witness (subject) and three states (object) will not be able to grasp what is real and what is unreal. Both subject and object are consciousness, not subject alone.

The truth can never change. The nature of truth is, that it can never be changed under any circumstances. It may be misrepresented. It must apply to the whole of existence, to the whole of the universe. It is in the object (three states) alone that one has all changes, as deeper analysis points out.

The subject (formless witness) remains unchanged. The subject (formless witness), as such remains immortal. It can never die for it changes. The body and the world are an object and go, but the subject or the knower of the body and the universe can never go. The seeker has to take this principle as his guiding thread and non-dual truth becomes easy to grasp. The formless witness can never be subject to the changes of the object; it is unchanged. The mistake usually made is that the subject becomes the object, or that object is the subject.

If one wants to have an absence of contradictions, an absence of duality, there must be one entity, one being. If one has experience which is an object (mind), there is a contradiction between subject and object, for "mind” is an object.

The duality is a reality from the standpoint of the false self (ego or the waking entity). The duality is merely an illusion on the base of the Soul, the Self, which is consciousness. This understanding comes only to the serious seeker, who has a real urge to know the ultimate truth, which is beyond all the teachings and teachers. There is neither teaching nor teacher nor student in the realm of truth. :~Santthosh Kumaar
